At Lifelong Steel Sheds we always aim to listen to our customers’ requirements, and when sending any emails we did endeavour to make the font size bigger than normal to be easier to read. In an effort to ensure good communication, we agreed to speak directly over the phone which we did wherever possible.
At the time you placed your order, through The Greenhouse People, our approximate delivery lead time was 8-10 weeks, and your Lifelong Steel Shed was delivered 8 weeks and 3 days after we received your order details.
I am not aware of any issues with the roof being the wrong size, as if this were the case, we would not have been able to complete the installation. Your Lifelong Steel Shed was delivered and installed in one visit on 16th May 2025.
The only report we had after this date was a concern you raised about two scratches on the side of your shed. At this point, we had no upcoming deliveries in your area of Scotland, so I personally drove from Warwickshire to Scotland over a weekend to inspect your shed with the intention to make any repairs as needed. When I arrived, we inspected the shed together and whilst there was one small mark on the inside of the shed, neither of us could locate the second scratch to the shed you had mentioned and so we agreed that there was nothing further to be done.
As a gesture of goodwill, I made a small adjustment to your balance total which you were happy with and subsequently paid your balance, which was received with thanks.

Had ours for a few years now
Ordered a long shed with doors both ends. Now been in use for a few years and no problems or any sign of aging. It does not leak which most others appear to. Worth the extra money.
The guys who fitted got it positioned into a very tight space with no complaints.
My one recommendation though is waxoyl the inner frame after fitting to prevent surface rust from varying temperatures and humidity.
We use the shed as a workshop and nothing kept inside has rusted unlike when we used a concrete garage.

Decent shed
We've had the shed for nearly two years now, I just got an email reminder about doing a review. Shed still looking good two years later, weather proof and rodent proof (so far). There are small gaps at the top where leaves sometimes blow in, but we've not had any water get in that way. We went for a metal shed as rats had chewed into the bottom of our old wooden shed. The roof lining seems to catch the condensation as intended, we've not had problems with damp. The construction was good and all went smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

Shed review
From the start lifelong sheds were very easy to deal with and helpful in answering all my questions.
The shed itself is exactly what I was looking for and was very easy to assemble.
My only issue is the door. The locking bolt and hinges are rusting quite badly. I have coated them with grease from the start,but unfortunately this hasn't helped.
It is starting to look a bit shabby .

Good but not cheap
We ordered a shed from this company in 2023.
They are not cheap but having paid about £800 for a wooden shed that only lasted about 10 years and required constant painting we decided to go for a better quality one.
We have been very impressed with it as it keeps everything nice and dry and requires no maintenance.

Very strong and secure life long sheds
Very strong and secure life long sheds. Put up by the there own staff in a little over two hours. Still looks brand new after nearly two years .
