Bought a VPS, and the port/internet speed is 2 Mbps? The slowest VPS I had in my life.
Have been waiting for a support answer for 3-4 days, but they don't even care to reply regarding the speed issue.
The best you can do, obviously, is to stay away from LightNode.

Scammer company - Avoid!

Setting up account. Added credits. Built VPS only for them to disable services and block account with no notification a day later.

Customer support is non responsive with no ability to get a refund.

Reported to payment services

Do not use this if you have sensitive job. They easily freeze your account without telling why!!! without notice! and when I want to find why, I can not even login to my account! I emailed to them, I send support to online chat, but your time is not important to them.

Terrible service. Support does not respond for more than 48 hours. I do not recommend this site!

I've been using LightNode for a couple of months now, and overall, I'm pretty satisfied. One of the main reasons I chose them was because they offer VPS locations in Dhaka, which is extremely rare among global providers. As someone based in Bangladesh, that local option really makes a difference in terms of latency and speed.

Setting up the VPS was very fast—just a couple of minutes—and the control panel is clean and easy to navigate. Their pay-as-you-go (hourly billing) is also super useful when you’re running temporary projects or testing different setups.

Performance-wise, the server has been stable. I use it mainly for hosting small websites and running scripts, and it’s handled everything smoothly so far. The SSD storage and NVMe speed are noticeable when working with larger files.

The only downside I've experienced is the customer support. They’re not very responsive. It usually takes a while to get a reply, and the answers can feel generic. Also, the network speed is capped at 100 Mbps, which is okay for many tasks but might be a limitation for heavy traffic or media-heavy apps.

Overall, LightNode is a great choice if you need VPS in specific regions like Dhaka, and you want flexible billing and fast deployment. Just be ready to wait a bit if you ever need help from support.

Light node is by far the best.
But have that in mind
None of them has more than 100Mbs port speed.
There is a stupid chatbot that can satisfy basic needs and Qs
But do not count on support and ticketing
I have written a ticket that has not been answered yet counting 10 up to this day

1 month without any posiibility to access to my VPS! THE PASSWORD STOPPED WORKING, I CHANGED SEVERAL TIMES BUT NO 1 WORKS. SUPPORT DOESNT KNOW HOW TO SOLVE ANYTHING. USELESS , LOSSING MONEY AND FILES!!!!! SUPPORT TAKE LIKE 1 WEEK TO ANSWER AND WHEN THEY DO, THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DO ANYTHING!!!

Scammer, No response, No refund,

My server IP was blocked by the Great Firewall (GFW) in China, making it completely unusable. I contacted LightNode many times via email and chatbot, but never received a response from a real support agent. This is extremely disappointing. I need a refund, but there’s no way to get help. My account is linked to a QQ email starting with 3912. Please respond

I purchased a VPS from LightNode on March 22, 2025, and the service is completely unusable. Latency regularly exceeds 3000-6000ms, making it impossible to SSH or run any tasks. I tried switching system images and regions – no improvement.

I contacted support and explained everything clearly. Instead of solving the issue, they refused any refund and only said “top-up is non-refundable.”

This is false advertising and service not delivered as described. Be aware: if your VPS has issues, they will not help you or return your money. Avoid this platform unless you want to waste your time and money.

I will continue reporting this to payment providers and tech forums.

Hi all. Do not buy this service. They are scammers. You will just lose money. The service is not existent. The support is a big fat joke. There is no service that they provide

Terrible service. Technical support only responds before you top up your balance. After - ignoring. Rented 5 servers for the emulator, but in the end the emulator does not work on any of them, technical support simply ignores. Also, the Internet speed that you buy - in the end is 70% less!!!! In general, I do not recommend this service if you do not want to lose your money.
