Great experience ordering from this…

Great experience ordering from this place. I order just over £2k worth of Schluter products from this online store and everything pretty much followed the next day.
Great experience all round.

Excellent. Stu was brilliant, helpful and although we ordered a wrong part and then wanted extra parts. He solved it all. Great team, great products, excellent customer service and product range.

Friendly and Helpful Staff with Good online prices

Called them for advice and found the staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately one of the items that I had ordered was incorrect as the manufacturers delivered it directly from the factory. I emailed Lilley Tile and Stone and they emailed me back within 10mins and sorted it out for me really quickly (as in within 3 days). I also found for the 3 products that I had ordered that they also had the cheapest prices. I would definitely order from them online again and in fact I have already done so.

Charged 15% more over counter than for click and collect and changed the prices when I left store.

I purchased £223 of items in the shop then found out they overcharged on nearly every item totalling £30 more than if I click and collect on the website. I’m a developer and have spoke to tradesman locally that have had same experience with them. I told them I will order on line and will return my last order but was rudely told they wouldn't refund me. Half hour after I challenged them in the shop they changed all their prices online. Luckily I screenshot the basket for proof. This is my first review ever but felt I need to warn people to stay clear they are very unscrupulous and happy to lose a customers for £30 so guessing they need it more than me. Shocking business ethic don't deserve to be trading. Good luck with trading standards.

Paul, we always do our best to assist and advise customers accordingly in our store, our staff being professionals in the tiling industry, having extensive knowledge are able to offer support to trade and private customers of the highest standard. On Friday 1st May a gentlemen came to our store requesting advice on what he needed for his project. Our staff were happy to help, even in this time of crisis, and went through the product range with the customer who then purchased accordingly. He was also given a trade discount and left, as far as we were concerned, a happy customer. On Monday 04/05/2020, a differant individual which I presume to be yourself, came to our store aggressively, verbally abusing and frightening our staff, demanding that the receipt he had in his hand be refunded the differance to match internet prices. The conversation was more in-depth, but as this was all captured on CCTV, which I have asked to be kept for your reference, I wont go into full details at this time. Firstly, your abuse of our staff is totally unacceptable, period! And I would recommend you review your actions and apologise to our staff. Secondly, internet prices are generally cheaper as communication/advice is kept to a minimum and requires less interaction with our staff and payments are made securely online. Thirdly, had you not abused our staff, it is likely they would have been more accomodating with your enquiry. I believe that they were happy for you to leave the store for their own safety. I am looking at the price issue myself now, but if you evidence from anyone else that we are an unscrupulous company with shocking business ethic, then please pass the information onto me ray@lilleytileandstone.co.uk and I will investigate without malice or prejudice dispite your unacceptable attitude to our staff.

Requested an invoice twice for a…

Requested an invoice twice for a product received. Did not even get a reply so do not buy if you need it for your accounts, to reclaim VAT or as a record for your purpose. It is difficult to understand why you get ignored.

They ignore the sales and goods act, not fit for purpose

They told me that I'm doing it wrong and would not refund me. I've been a landscaper for 20 years and know what I'm talking about. Would never use this company again.

A tiling gem.

We were recommended to this firm by our daughter. Very good service from Nick. There were a couple of hiccups, but not of Lilleys making ( due to supplier errors) which Nick sorting out efficiently.
I would definitely use this firm again and can thoroughly recommend them.
Also the choice of tiles is much greater than the larger stores.

Simply one of the best companiers I have ever dealt with. Pre sales advice was excellent, after sales even better, price, service and delivery are second to none. Highly recommended, all aspects of this company are outstanding

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered £250 of Mapei tanking products and two of the biggest boxes arrived. Oh no, the boxes were full to the brim of old scrunched up paper, old Christmas wrapping paper and clearly all of their crap they need to get rid of. It’s a surprise I actually managed to find some of my products in the mess!! The Mapei waterproofing membrane worth £90 is now covered in glitter from the wrapping paper!!! Absolute joke. Keep away from this company if you want your products to arrive with care!

Excellent service

Shopping online for tile adhesive wouldn't normally make sense but I couldn't find any local suppliers at a price I liked. Lilley tile & stone supplied the S2 adhesive at a very decent price including delivery. Delivery was quick and communication excellent. No hesitation recommending them.

all products are fine, but cannot return untouched items if order made over 28 days

all went fine, but if you plan your renovation in advance and you have something unused and untouched after 28 days of made order you cannot return it at all ...even worth £160!. it's a shame and very bad from my point of view, because I've spent almost a £1000 and now I need to get rid off few brand new items and I may end up trying to sell it or will just dump it. I would think that there are some exceptions, but it seems that not at this company. I will continue shopping at other stores next time.

Unfortunately in this instance the product has been shipped nearly 2 months before a return was requested. We do try and accommodate customers as best we can and obviously are unhappy when we get a 2 star review despite the fact a quality product was shipped to you on time at a price which we hope met your initial budget. We have reviewed the process in this case but unfortunately cannot accept a return as such late a stage. We hope you have not been too inconvenienced by this, but hope that for future orders you may still consider us as a source of supply. Our onsite tiling experts remain happy to help if you need any technical advice on your current purchase or for new projects.

I ordered the products which were considerably cheaper than via our local suppliers, booked a 2 day delivery and it was all delivered without hassle or fuss 2 days later.
