Order at your own risk. They shipped the product but UPS kept trying to deliver while I was at work and they returned to sender. I even left a note with saying my neighbor works from home and would sing for it. LB only offered partial refund and I had to dispute on my CC.

I think a lot of these bad reviews are from people who didn't read the detailed shipping policies of LB. I found their shipping page and then read reviews and took a chance. Had a great experience with them. I bought on a friday and it was delivered to me just fine on a wednesday.

NO updates and no shipping because of an item out of stock.

They customers you to join SHOP for tracking information. SHOP is a 3rd party app that has nothing to do with my order. It asks me for private information that is none of its business. What do you bet, that after i sign up with SHOP, I will start getting all sorts of email spam. I am sure that SHOP gives them a kickback on all the suckers they trick into joining.

I paid for shipping to them. They ups and other companies to ship. All good but when ups messed up liquor barn wasn't there to step in at all. So money for shipping gets wasted no matter how you approach this issue. Ups tells you go to the shipper and shipper to ups. No on wants to give you money for ups not delivering your shipment or skipping you on the route. . So in conclusion their custer support is non existent and they do not care what their carrier do once shipment is picked up. Don't for their purchase protection fee. Not worth l. Order #22155527

I ordered seasonal cider for my Wife from Liquor Barn (liquorbarnca.com). I just realized they charged us tax for California even though we live in Oregon and had it shipped to Oregon (tax-free). Well, we will NEVER order from them again. I called and they replied that everyone gets charged the tax?! Where does the $7.94 worth of tax unfairly collected from us go? Is this a racket or an oversight? I confirmed with the California Sales Tax folks that this is a violation and showed us which form to file a complaint.

I have purchased from them a couple of times and they do ship quickly, but beware that they charge you for the shipping and use the regulars (FedEx) but also used other services (Speedex) which has a horrible reputation. The last time I bought something I worked from home and Speedex said that they were unable to make the delivery. That Saturday I was home wiht my daughter looking out the window when the said that they made a second attempt. This was not true, I contacted Liquor Barn and they said they would refund the bottle price but not the shipping fee even though their inept shipper did not deliver to the correct address.

It is a shame that a company can use such a service and the purchaser is responsible to pay for the poor service. If they had used FedEx or UPS or DHL this would never have happened. I learned my lesson and have already told my group of friends to avoid the liquorbarn.com.

Yesterday they said they would cancel the order but not the shipping fee. There are plenty of professional stores out there so do your homework. What a shame.

All went well! I was searching everywhere for my husband's favorite whisky. Liquor Barn had it, and I'll admit I was a little nervous after seeing these reviews, but after reading a few more on Reddit, I decided to give it a try and I was desperate to find this one whisky. Luckily, everything went well! I placed the order on August 16th (late on a Friday) and the gift was delivered on August 22nd in very secure packaging after only 4 work days. Would recommend.

Please help me understand how can I give you more than that when:
1- Ordered 47 days ago and YOU charged me for said order.
2- Put my order “ON HOLD” with no further info until I asked you.
3- Cancelled my order after I sent my ID and my photo holding my ID as you requested but your “Illegal & Fraud dept.” rejected my documents. (Please specify what is illegal or fraudulent about me, I’m 44, or my LEGAL ID?).
4- You still have my (almost) $149 which you promptly and conveniently charged (but your “Illegal & Fraud dept.” finds this perfectly honest).

I was denied a price match by Liquor Barn although their websites advertises one. I pointed out the policy on their website. They acknowledged the policy but refused to honor it. The product was an exact match at another liquor store 2.6 miles away.

Today I got a promo email from Liquor Barn that reiterated the price match policy. DON'T BELIEVE IT.

this is by far the worst place to order from.
they allow quebec purchases and their disclaimer fails to mention the super high cost to create a permit for 1 bottle in personal use. when you call customer service they are arrogant and say well it's written but nothing is written on this... its what i call a partial disclosure

they wash their hands on a refund and put it all on the customer

They no longer sell my favorite brand of beer cold. A whole month now of having to buy room temperature beer. I wish they would explain why?
