Worst buying experience EVER
Just like another reviewer, I’d love to give -0 stars. I ordered 2 wallets from this company because I had purchased products with the same name at Nordstrom several years ago. This company is a total scam. Cannot be the same company whose leather goods were sold at Nordstrom. The smell of mothballs was overwhelming. I sent an email immediately after opening the box and was told this is normal for leather goods to smell musty or like mothballs. Seriously? After repeated emails attempting to return these items with no help from the dishonest merchant, I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. I followed every step I was told to. The dishonest merchant said smell was subjective and couldn’t be verified. So CAPITAL ONE closed the case. After contacting the credit card company again I was sent a list of new requirements for them to reopen my case . Unlike another reviewer’s credit card company, CAPITAL ONE was not at all helpful to me. made me send copies of all the correspondence, along with a statement outlining all that had transpired. But the merchant was not asked to do any of that. They simply had to say that I claimed to have returned the wallets, then mentioned I still had them. I never said that. I repeatedly asked for help in returning this stinky things. CAPITAL ONE sided with LODIS and closed the case again. I have run over $750,000.00 through that credit card, never once being late on payments. I pay the bill in full every month. Still no help from CAPITAL ONE. So not only is LODIS a total fraud, but CAPITAL ONE is just as bad. They will lose a long time good customer rather than fight on my behalf over $144.97. Maybe, they don’t want to ask the merchant for anything. In closing, do not order anything from LODIS and certainly don’t expect any support from CAPITAL ONE if you use their card.
