These people operare under several similar names such as London ebook company. See my review there. Watch out
Oh, I’d love to say the journey was a great and fulfilling experience — the kind that enriches the soul and restores one’s faith in professional services. Sadly, that would be fiction. And not even well-edited fiction.
In reality, it was long. It was tortuous. It moved with all the urgency of continental drift.
Initial communication? Excellent. Prompt. Reassuring. Almost impressive. In hindsight, I assume that was simply the “we haven’t actually started yet” phase. Imagine my delight when the first round of editing arrived looking as though it had been enthusiastically tackled by a sleep-deprived 12-year-old with a fondness for random font changes. Formatting was chaotic, fonts were mixed like a ransom note, and when I pointed out the errors they were dutifully removed — only to mysteriously reappear later, like editorial whack-a-mole.
The cover design process was less “collaborative creative journey” and more “shouting into the void.” Clear instructions were provided. They were also, apparently, treated as light suggestions.
Then came the attempt to recharge me for the ISBN — which, minor detail, was already included in the original package. Strangely enough, once this was pointed out, the charge evaporated. A Christmas miracle.
As for timelines: even allowing for the festive season and the general slowing of civilisation in December, the process sailed well past the promised 40 working days. Momentum only seemed to materialise once I mentioned refunds and the possibility of court action. Remarkable what can be achieved with a little motivation.
And just when I thought we were done, I was generously offered a marketing package for the bargain price of £250 — delivered via weekend phone calls and texts, no less. Nothing says “professional publishing partner” quite like unsolicited Saturday sales pitches.
Feedback I provided? Thoroughly ignored. Spectacularly so.
Never. Ever. Again.
Caveat emptor.

My book needed a complete structural cleanup, and they handled it better than expected. They kept me tone but made everything clearer and more organized. The formatting was spot-on and looked great on Kindle.
I'm extremely satisfied with London eBook House's ebook formatting and editing service. They refined the content professionally, corrected formatting issues, and ensured the book looked polished and consistent across all pages.
