DVR's arbitrarily no longer supported

I have had two DVR's the newer's literature advertising it as connectable to the cloud. I bought these used, the recent NOS unopened. My fault for not setting it up sooner. Tech support, hard to understand some at Lorex, another one, an annoyingly pregnant pause after every thing I just said. I am not six figured salaried, I don't have the resources to spend thousands on a cutting edge system. Mid range consumers beware, Lorex may not be an ideal fit, when being told the DVR is no longer supported, even when the packaging indicates there's no reason why it shouldn't!

It,s the worst of video doorbells in…

It,s the worst of video doorbells in the past 5 years.
Even after downloading/installing what is suppose to be the latest firmware, unit still unresponsive to movement and alerts.
While some and I do mean some, alerts to phone may be as long a 5 min or more minutes to receive.
Installing on a 100mb + download and 35 mb upload system apparently is not good enough to satisfy system requirements according to a conversation of over an hour with technical support.
Installing via Lorex app took several attempts to finally install.
After a week of putting up with poor quality of unit I gave up and removed entire system and moved on to another product.
I should have read reviews pertaining to Lorex dependability fist before purchasing.

All we asked Iftikhar Usman was for him to help us with a broken DVR for over 6 months we are trying to fix a refund and for him not to affect my credit instead of apologizes he acted like another nasty Chinese business owner and hangs up the phone calls and does not help stay away from LOREX IS A HUGE SCAMMER.

The doorbell camera keeps going…

The doorbell camera keeps going offline. After several attempts via the Lorex App to request tech support to no avail, I wrote them and was provided a tech support number.
I called and was asked several questions about what I bought, when where. Then I was asked for the serial number, (which is on the doorbell back plate) I explained that the doorbell is attached to the home. "Sorry, is there no other way to get the serial number?" No, sorry. Now I have to remove the doorbell, take a photo, and supply them with the serial number before they can provide tech support to fix the issue. Why this information isn't part of the sales data is beyond me. They have everything else on me personally for sales data but they don't know what they sell on file per the sales receipt number?
