This site is a total scam and if i could give it 0 stars i would have . All the other comments are tight on the money and money grabbing thieves is spot on ( although i think on a free site ) Nothing more frustrating talking to a ghost, they want more & more info and when i try and arrange a meet up it never happens . The other gripe you can not have what i would call a live chat usually you have to wait 3-6-9 12 hours for a reply

I do believe the profiles are real but your profile is then used to trap other users into paying extended membership fees, you will never ever talk to the person in the profile. It is run by professional scammers Any replies you receive are either generic questions, ie how was your day or they pull at the heart strings with tales of deceit and cheating by former partners. They will try to seduce you with talk of meeting up and weekends away but refuse to supply alternative means of communication like a phone number. I live in NZ and their grasp of geography is shocking. I asked for matches within 50km and end up with matches on a totally different island. The whole site is fake and you will never ever talk to your match. It is quite heartbreaking that genuine people are being used like this all for the sake of money. I get messages at 3am asking how my day is? Occasionally you will get a live chatter who is charming and talks about music, movies, food etc and then the next sentence bears no relevance at all, on one match I estimate there were three different people talking to me at different times judging the sentence structure and content of the responses. I have now pulled my profile because it is upsetting to think it is being used to rip people off.

Signed up for the $12.99 per month option and they took $415 from my account. Scam and crooks - STAY WELL CLEAR!

SCAM SITE! They make it impossible to delete your account and subscription. I have had to send a registered letter to Austria to cancel my subsription and that probably won't even work. The profiles are fake. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

I have read the comments by other members wishing to cancel their subscription. I have had exactly the same experience. Refusal to cancel despite sending many emails with my details and the cancel code. Furthermore I find that it's virtually impossible to arrange a date with any of my matches. Maybe it's because many of the profiles are fake? My advice is to stay away from loveat50 at all costs. The dating website has no cancel function which in itself is suspicious. Also my preferences don't seem to have much effect on the so called matches.

Tried to cancel the following day and then again 3 days after signing up. No response. A month later they respond to a third notice of cancellation by email that included the published cancellation code from the profile, having first collected a second payment, insisting upon cancellation by fax or registered post to Austria.
Now threatening to hand over to debt collection.
They had ample, acceptable, reasonable, and timeous communication which they choose to ignore.
Don't touch this site. Also clearly many fake profiles.

They are nothing more than money grabbing thieves. Tried to cancel after initial subscription and now have debt collectors on my back although I have no intention of paying. All online and email attempts to cancel have failed, as they insist on a fax to Austria (although I can’t find number !!!). Do not touch them with a barge pole.

Bunch of thrives they took 120 each 3 month as only way to cancel is a fax or a letter sent to Austria who uses faxes anymore would not allow me to cancel by email although there fax was not responding

As a novice in this dating game I was totally put-off with the standard of personal service, unreliable communication, calibre of matches and inability to easily unsubscribe. This company operates to make a profit deviously at the expense of genuine singles seeking companionable relationships.

Bought this dating site on promotiona special price, after checked out relised that i have been charged full price as normal. Sent several emails No anwser No refund. They will never cancel your subscription and continue to charge you account.
I had to cancel my card .

I got scammed of $415.00 emailed there support email,they read the email,as i put a read receipt on,asked for a refund but they are not budging with any responses.
I right this minute tried to log in,but it won't allow me to.
Also noticed,the profiles are local areas,so it says,but to me,when someone messages,they can't spell or type properly.

I got scammed by LoveAt50! I got some replies from potential dates which didn't make sense. I then Googled the website which informed me.... I immediately canceled my card etc. Call me anytime 022 088 6992

Scammers, they will not cancel your subscription and continue to charge you and renew your membership.
I had to cancel my card and request a dispute with my bank as they will not cancel nor refund me .
I had to cancel my card and request to bank to place a block. They continue to harass me to this day over a renewal I never agreed or authorised.
Avoid at all costs!!

Fake profiles that refuse to meet and obviously just trying to keep you chatting on the site.

It doesn't even deserve one star. You are not talking to a real person. Try to find the names you think you are talking to on 192.com, they are not there. In fact I think that more than one person "talks to you" per contact, the tone and phrases change so much. Do not waste your money on this scam site.
