They Cancelled on us and I'm still waiting for a Refund
Booked an excursion before leaving for my trip only to have it cancelled last minute and now I've been waiting for my refund to try and salvage this situation with my wife. Very disappointed and their solution was just to come another day like our trip was indefinite.

We understand and share your frustration about the excursion getting cancelled at such a late time. Because the solution of postponing your booking did not work for your schedule, you were immediately issued a full refund. However, refunds always take several days to reflect on your credit card statement. I hope you understand that this is completely out of our control.

This site regarding punaluu black sand…
This site regarding punaluu black sand beach is highly inaccurate and misleading, providing false information to tourists. The Ninole cove is a dangerous place for inexperienced and experienced snorkelers/swimmers alike. Also there are Hawai’i county lifeguard on duty 7 days a week on the punaluu black sand beach.

Let me start with saying that we strongly disagree with your characterization of our website. Love Big Island exists to give honest and unbiased information about the Big Island and we take pride in keeping our content accurate and up-to-date.
Having said that I'd like to thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We greatly value community input such as yours and have addressed your points in the following way:
-- By updating the lifeguard information (great that there are now guards 7 days/week!)
-- By making it clear that snorkeling at Ninole cove should only be attempted by experienced snorkelers during calm ocean conditions.

When we get island fever over on kaua'i we just island hop over to big island to visit family and friends. We decided to check out some tourist attractions last time and found big island love.
Big island love showed us aloha alright. Highly recommended.

Love big Island Website
Prior to our first trip to the Big Island we bought a travel book which ended up being worthless..
We found ‘Love big Island’ website which became our daily main source of information to visit the Big Island.
It allows you to choose locations you want to see or activities you want to do and describe them very well all along with local tips.We even learned about the volcanic eruption in Puna in 2018 with a video and the detailed timeline!
We highly recommend this website for anyone who wants to visit or learn about the Big Island. It is well written, thorough,free of commercial bias, an excellent source of information.

We got some helpful advice concerning the question where to stay around the Volcano Natiional Park. It was a very cosy place and a special memory of our stay on Big Island.

I Love Big Island too
My family and I are visiting Hawaii for the first time. As we are flying all the way from Australia it was really important to get all the information we needed to make really informative decisions, such as car hire, where to stay, what to do. OMG, I was so happy when we came across Love Big Island. Thank you so very much for all of your excellent information on your website. What you share is invaluable and most importantly you make it available to whom ever wishes to read it. Keep on loving Big Island as we are the ones that are truly rewarded by it.
