Laurel Park Retreat Centre Avis 

From the moment I arrived at Laurel Park Retreat Centre, I felt completely welcomed and supported. Emma was there waiting for me, helped me unpack the car, set up the communal area with all the food and little things I had brought, and then took me around the site. The whole retreat centre felt serene, spotless and immediately welcoming.

As a first-time retreat host at Laurel Park, I could not have asked for better support from Emma and Andy. They struck the perfect balance: always there whenever I needed them, but never overbearing. Before the retreat, communication was excellent. They answered my many questions, offered me the opportunity to spend time at the centre beforehand, and made me feel supported at every stage.

During the weekend, they were wonderfully warm and engaging, and my students loved chatting with them. The food was always served on time, absolutely delicious, and thoughtfully catered to a range of tastes and dietary requirements. The homemade treats were a particular joy.

Within half an hour of arriving, several of my guests were already asking, “Can we do this again next year?” The hot tub was a wonderful addition, as was the massage therapist, Heena Patel, whom Emma recommended and put me in touch with.

There is something very special about Laurel Park. It offers a real sense of sanctuary, with wildlife, open skies, beautiful views and a deep connection with nature. It feels far enough away from everyday life to create a true retreat, yet it is still easy and manageable to reach.

I left feeling relaxed, connected and deeply grateful. Even as a solo retreat host, I felt looked after on every level. I would wholeheartedly recommend Laurel Park to other retreat leaders. You can trust that both you and your guests will be warmly welcomed, supported and cared for.

I am already excited to return in 2027, and every guest who was available next year has already re-booked.

Soul Journey Holistic Yoga and Therapies - Wellingborough.

I've visited this family run campsite, for yoga retreats, over the past 5 years and would recommend the experience to anyone.

As an experienced camper, novice, expert yogi or beginner, it's well worth visiting and experiencing it for yourself.

Emma and Andy have turned the place into a peaceful haven, equipped with various tents, cabins, lodges etc all furnished to a very high standard.

The campsite has many seating areas, firepits and places to relax in.
Our food (cooked by Emma) is always superb, healthy and colourful (a visual treat!) And, there's always choice.

Extremely competitive prices too which helps !

The yoga shala remains one of the best in the UK, lovingly furnished and tranquil.
