Very good choice of products and competitively priced. Order arrived as scheduled and was well crated and packed, so no chips or breakage.

Good customer service
I placed an order for sandstone walling which was delivered promptly although unfortunately a large number of the tiles were broken. I contacted LSD and sent photos and replacement packs were despatched and received by me in Scotland within the week so very impressive service from LSD and Bradstone. My landscaper was also impressed and said he would definitely use them in the future

Firm needs to do more research and listen to Locals Driver was the best and very helpful.
I disliked the fact that 1 they did not inform me before trying to deliver. 2 they told me that they did not have a small enough wagon to get on our street with a tail-lift that could handle the weight. 3 when the delivery driver phoned to ask where he was to drop them I directed him where to go when he got there he took one look at the street and said he could get on there easily and he did, the driver was great and very helpful but the firm who delivered should do more research and listen to the people who live in the area. Thanks anyway Rant over.

Réponse de LSD & BSD - Landscaping & Building Supplies Direct
Hi Michael,
Thanks for reaching out about your recent delivery. I'm very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience you experienced.
We’re investigating the issues you raised, and here’s what we found:
Lack of prior notification: We apologise for failing to notify you before the delivery attempt. Our standard procedure is to schedule all deliveries with you beforehand. A new system was used for your order, and unfortunately, this step was missed.
Issues with vehicle size: We're sorry for the misinformation. The courier's team looked at Google Maps and incorrectly assumed only a 7.5-ton truck could navigate your street, and they only carry a taillift capable of lifting 500 kg due to the small size of the vehicle.
Inaccurate information: We agree that our third-party delivery partners should be more diligent and trust the local knowledge of residents.
While we're glad the driver was able to help, it doesn't excuse the poor planning and communication. Your feedback is crucial and will help us prevent similar issues in the future.
We appreciate your patience and thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,
LSD

Did not receive sample
Did not receive sample
Ordered direct From Bradstone for free but LSD tried to say the one delivered was from them but they get Bradstone to send the sample
However Bradstone don’t charge as I have ordered samples from them over the last month for free
So ??? Why the £7+
Don’t care about the money but LSD seem dishonest
I will be buying direct from Bradstone!

Hi Edwina,
Thank you for reaching out to us about your sample order. I apologise for any confusion or inconvenience this has caused.
Upon reviewing the tracking information with our supplier, Bradstone, we confirmed that your sample was requested on the 25th and delivered on the 29th. The proof of delivery (POD) has been emailed to you for your reference.
As we've previously explained, we charge a small fee for samples to cover our costs and maintain the integrity of our sample service. In some cases, our suppliers ship samples to us first, and we then forward them to you via a courier. In this instance, the sample was sent to you directly from Bradstone.
To resolve this issue, I've processed a full refund for the sample charge. We hope the paving you ordered is perfect for your garden and looks lovely once installed.
Kind regards,
LSD

Excellent customer service.
The team at LSD couldn't have been more helpful in ensuring we got the right products and deal for our landscaping project. Special thanks to Rob and Manuel. I have not seen our sandstone paving yet as it was delivered to our landscaper's yard in advance of the project start date next month. Hopefully I will be as pleased with the products as I am with the service!
Thanks,
MW

Really happy with my purchase of Indian sandstone slabs. The colours are stunning and create a lovely warm glow.
The delivery was within a week with no breakages. I would not hesitate to order from LSD & BSD again.

Order took 2 weeks to arrive
Order took 2 weeks to arrive. The pallet of slabs was shipped to the incorrect address which put my job behind as I had organised all arrangements settled for a week after I had placed the order.
No compensation, nothing offered just a "nothing we can do"...
Further edit:
LSD has responded saying that they "resolved the issue in the 15th, the day after initial issue was recognised".
That is a blatant lie.
The error was made on 9th of July and I phoned to check what was happening with the delivery on the 14th... Not exactly the next day is it?

Réponse de LSD & BSD - Landscaping & Building Supplies Direct
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your recent feedback regarding your order of paving slabs. We understand your frustration with the delay and the incorrect delivery, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused your project.
We've looked into your order and can confirm that it was placed on July 2nd. Due to an administrative error, the pallet of slabs was unfortunately shipped to an incorrect address.
We were first made aware that you hadn't received your order on July 14th. Please know that as soon as you notified us, we took immediate action to rectify the situation. We were able to arrange for the correct delivery to your address on July 15th, just one day after you informed us of the issue.
We hope this explanation clarifies the timeline and our swift resolution once the problem was brought to our attention. While we deeply regret the initial error and the disruption to your plans, we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention so we could resolve it promptly.
Updated,
Thank you for providing the additional information.
We understand that our courier delivered your original order to the wrong address, and we're very sorry for the confusion and delay this caused. We were not aware of the issue until you contacted us on what we believe to be the 14th to inquire about your delivery. We apologise if this date is incorrect.
Once we were made aware of the issue, we immediately investigated and prioritised a replacement order for you. The replacement order with Bradstone was shipped as quickly as possible, and we even upgraded it to a next-day service. We apologise for any misunderstanding regarding the replacement delivery time frame.
Please know that our top priority is to resolve issues as quickly as possible. We acted as soon as we were notified and did everything we could to get your replacement to you right away.
Sincerely,
LSD
Brilliant service
