Oberon hotel fantastic
Marakesh city tour was ok, the tour guide tried to get it over really fast. We were supposed to see the Medina at night because it is a lot more happening but he showed us right after Bahia palace and we were done with the tour around 3pm. Main attraction Medina is happening at night which we didn’t experience. We had horse dance show in the itinerary but no one mentioned it to us that Sunday there is no dinner with horse dance it’s only lunch so we missed that also.
Our tour guide had no clue about anything, he never checked on us and he didn’t know about the activities or timings. He is such a clue less person with no ethics.
Then we moved to sakkoura and on the way they have arrangements with some really cheap nasty places for lunch with local people and they charge 250 person with food we don’t like anything in it but we are forced to eat as they don’t give you any other option. If you ask that we would like to try another restaurant they don’t like and get rude to you.
Then we were driven to dessert and a big surprise waiting for us. Entire tent is empty and we are the only guests. It was said buffet dinner but there was no buffet they just made some chicken and lamb for us. People at the tent was amazing and really really nice. They did bonfire for us and tried to entertain us with their local music.
Next morning it was written in the itinerary about the camel ride with sunrise and it never happened. Then around 11 they drove us to the nomad village.
We were told that we will be provided with English speaking tour guide which never happened. No one speaks even basic English. We could not understand anything, also we wanted to get the buggy but they have few people who charge more the rest all wanted cash, no credit card facility and our tour guide never informed about this. Our itinerary had below details and none of that happened like romantic dinner in the dessert, henna tatto and much more (Enjoy an atmospheric evening dining under the stars in the desert. El Jk is extremely unapproachable and rude, driver was exceptionally good guy but didn’t know English and it is El Jk fault as he promised us to be providing English speaking and luxury tour. We paid like tons of money in way advance.
Terrible experience during the day as the guide can’t speak one word of English.
Then we moved tot he rest of the cities, hotels were wonderful as we asked to select those hotels, but in chefchuaon we had dinner included and common sense is we have booking for 6 people but dinner was served for 5 people, we asked for our 3.5 years old daughters' some food and they asked us to pay as we had booking only for 5 people. it is very funny because we are straying in the hotel as 6 people but dinner would only be for 5 people.
Morocco is a great place but this company and the organizer is a nightmare. He is extremely rude and no customer service, our driver who drove us around the country was excellent and I would highly highly recommend him (Hakim).
