LVLY - underwhelming arrangement and customer service, unreliable delivery
I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to my daughter's workplace on her 21st birthday. The order was placed the previous week with plenty of time. They didn't arrive on the day. When i chased it up (twice) I finally found out that the flowers were delivered the following day - which created a separate problem as she doesn't work in the city every day.
I was told (in a nice way) bad luck - we have 3 days to deliver them and they'll last 3 days in their special water/packaging.
My daughter made a special trip into the office to collect the flowers that had been squashed into a 45cm box (when the sizing says approx 49cm, there is no way this boquet was 49cm). The arrangement was underwhelming for $155. I could have had a more beautiful boquet made locally, twice the size.
Separately I received a message from Australia Post to collect a parcel on the other side of town (seemingly unrelated) - when I drove there I discovered it was the floral arrangement that had now been collected by the courier. Why I was personally notified to collect is clearly a flaw in the ordering system.
Overall, a terrible experience - delayed, poor quality, overpriced and disappointing customer service to satisfactorily resolve the matter. I will never use LVLY again.
