Avoid — unprofessional, disorganised, and disrespectful of your time
Today, instead of the email I was expecting, Dawn Dickson called me from MacLav and informed me of her decision about my level after a very short call. I had just finished a busy work day and asked one single question. She answered it and then immediately ended the call - I didn't even understand what had happened. She fully ignored my actual test results in both Maths and English, despite the fact that I have been working professionally in English in the UK for seven years.
This is a rude and unprofessional company, with an unfriendly attitude and very poor organisation. I wasted three weeks on tests, calls, and mixed-up information - they lost track of scheduled calls, and decisions about my level seemed to be made emotionally rather than based on the actual assessment results.
My recommendation: avoid this company and respect your own time. We are all busy adults with real lives - if a service provider doesn't respect your time, walk away.
