Reliable and healthy Meals

I’ve been using MACROS Ready Made Meals for about 5 years now, and overall I’ve had a really positive experience.

The meals are healthy, well-balanced, and convenient, which makes sticking to a routine so much easier. One thing I really appreciate is their customer service, it’s quick and responsive, and whenever there’s been an issue, they’ve applied credit without any hassle.

Delivery has been reliable too. Orders arrive on time, and the tracking makes it easy to plan around.

Of course, like any business, there have been the occasional minor delivery hiccups, but nothing major and definitely not frequent enough to be a concern.

Overall, I’d highly recommend them if you’re looking for convenient, healthy meals without the headache.

Unhealthy and full of fat - disgusting!

Do not get the beef brisket. 7 out of my 8 meals were just lumps of fat. I understand a little bit of fat, but this was disgusting, it was the bulk of each meal. They refunded me for 2 meals. I’m just worried as to how this can pass there quality control and nutrition standards, worst than McDonald’s! Basically paid $13 for a potato and 2 beens. Terrible!

My order didn’t arrive

My order didn’t arrive. Instead of asking if I would like an order resent a refund was activated that I would receive in 5-10 business days. No food or my money for at least 7 days (as the refund was processed on a Sat). This is unacceptable

It is super difficult to cancel your order or subscription, or even make another meal choice, and the website does not work. It is very slow, very amateur.

Can’t review the food as it was never…

Can’t review the food as it was never delivered. In the order confirmation email it advised that you would receive an email once shipped for tracking, and I received nothing. It’s the day of delivery and I still have no email advising it’s been shipped. I assume my order isn’t coming. Warning others, to save them time and money. I expect a full refund. As far as I can tell MACROS is a scam, buyer be warned!

Worst customer service

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Macros. I was charged for an order that was never delivered, and there was absolutely no communication from the company about the issue. The only reason I found out about the problem was because I contacted them myself, and then they said it was because of an error in the system on their end. Their solution was just to deliver that set of meals along with the next weeks.

I had to make last-minute arrangements for my meals for the week, which was both stressful and inconvenient. Throughout the process, there was no real accountability or recognition of their mistake, and no effort to even fully acknowledge their mistake.

The customer service felt impersonal and dismissive, and I did not feel valued as a customer at any stage. Based on this experience, I have cancelled my subscription and will not be returning. I hope Macros takes this feedback seriously and improves their communication and customer care in the future.

Their food is ok but customer service…

Their food is ok but customer service is terrible, they dont respect us customers, I emailed them to ask if we can skip 1 week delivery as we are heading oversea for 1 week, they said yes and everything then they continued sending food on the week that we not home, all foods got melt and went to the bin, i emailed again and they never said Sorry or anything, they let me Unsubscribe and thats it, very poor service

Great if you can afford it

I subscribed to Macros for approx 6 months.

Pros:
- Tasty overall, bearing in mind my menu was high protein, low-fat. It's not gonna taste like a takeaway but it's still pretty good.
- Variety of meals to choose from
- Very convenient, well packaged
- Works great if you're counting macros: hit my goals without much effort in the kitchen

Cons:
- After 6 months, you get through all the meals and start getting bored. They changed ~3 items in my category (Sculpt) every 3 months.
- Gets expensive if you're having it for lunch and dinner every day
- End up eating a lot of "tv dinner" type food: stews, curries, etc. as the other types e.g. roast meat & potatoes aren't great reheated
- User interface not the best. Managed to sign up to 2 separate subscriptions accidentally and ended up with double identical food. Froze it, so it was still edible.
- Delivery is $15 unless you order >$150

Overall:
Great if you can afford it. Meals were superior to some other competitors I tried.

Please do not subscribe to Macros

Please do not subscribe to food delivery from Macros. Without writing something to War & Peace, Macros meals are quite good but it’s a Subscription service, which means that once you order meals, they will send and charge for the meals regardless of having numerous email conversations with their support service to cancel all or any accounts. Besides receiving advice from service that my relevant account was cancelled, I received advice that my next meal pack would arrive. I desperately attempted to cancel the meal pack but it still arrived and they tried to bill my credit card for $136.00. I had already contacted my bank and had to cancel my card, which means 7-10 days without my card. My experience is that any pre-prepared meal pack service should be carefully examined but DON’T deal with Macros. They are either fraudulent or incompetent, or both.

Back in the day

Back in the day, I tried to understand what would be cheaper for me, to buy food in store and go home, cooking it myself and eating, or ordering already cooked food, divided on several portions for the whole week and so on.
Of course, the 1st option won and this is why I write this review about Macros. They have a really exclusive offer in terms of cooked food. Not only do they cater to the needs of various people, on various diets, keto, mass gain, sculpt and so on, but also the diversity of dishes in menus is stunning!

To be fair the meals are quite good and…

To be fair the meals are quite good and no problem with delivery. The issue I had was communication, somehow I ended up on a subscription after taking up an offer, then they started sending 4 meal packs a week each pack contains 18 meals. The website wouldn't let me cancel the subscription and you cant contact them by phone as its never answered, they did eventually get back to me by email and they cancelled the subscription. But I wont use them again, over a 2 week period they withdrew close to $700.00 from my account due to this error. Now I just don't trust them.
