Everything was fabulous: hotels, drivers, and especially the guides! Sagrada Familia was amazing. The restaurant in Evora was a wonderful surprise, a lovely lunch. We also appreciated the side trips to Toledo and Sintra. Rachel did a super job customizing our experience and ensuring we had the best trip. Highly recommend!

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the tour through Andalucia, the organisation was seemless, accommodation was wonderful, the guides were terrific, lunch & dinner reservations were perfect. The 9 day tour was well divided to provide us the time to tour each location, see the sites & include cultural experiences. Perfect💕

It was a grand finale to a memorable trip made possible by you + your team, especially last minute. The expertise of the guides you provided in Seville, Ronda & Granada was outstanding. You tailored our wishes to our needs: including longer hikes & specialty restaurants, a winery tour & olive oil farm visit that was fabulous. It will be easy to recommend Magical Spain to any friend or family visiting Spain or Portugal!

We recently returned from an absolutely fabulous 3 week trip to Spain orchestrated by Dan and his great team at Magical Spain. This is the first time we have used Concierge travel and we are hooked. I have always prided myself on setting up our own itinerary and I have usually been quite pleased with the results of my research and planning... I had no idea what I was missing until I took the plunge with Dan. It is worth every penny.

For three weeks we were under the expert care of people with local and expert knowledge. This means a friendly face meeting you in the lobby to walk you around town give you a perspective that is impossible to get on your own. Our first guide was in the Basque region for a pintos tour of several local bars. She was a lifelong local and it was like having a local friend take you out for drinks and tapas. She gave us her cell and encouraged us to text or call if we needed anything while we were in town or even in the future. She was marvelous and a good start to an unbelievable trip.

We had a private guide take us to vineyards in La Rioja where Dan had set up private tours with the managers of the estates. This was not like any other wine tour I have had. They spent hours with us and shared all sorts of knowledge. You had the feeling you were with friends of family.

We also had guides at museums along the trip and we had no idea what we were missing. During previous trips I would have tried to find a guide on my own using internet sights and the experience always seemed good. This was a completely different level. Dan set up guides with advanced degrees in the arts who made the art come alive with their expertise. We literally had our own professor guiding us through some of the world's best museums. We will remember it forever.

Transfers were in late model Mercedes for the most part. Some may be so lucky, but this is not how we usually get around...but it sure is nice.

Dan and his team also made reservations for lunch and dinner everywhere. Before the trip they asked many questions about what type of places we liked. We are foodies, but generally prefer local places to Michelin star experiences. The restaurants they put together were a fantastic mix of laid back gems and high end dining. Whenever I would ask around before the meal from the concierge or locals we were universally told our choices were Gems.

When you arrive at the restaraunt and give your name it seems like you were a special guest. We were always greeted like we were regulars and taken to one of the best tables. You can't get this type of service on your own.

I could go on, but hopefully I have explained how happy were were to have had Dan and his team take expert care of us despite many last minute changes we continually made to our itinerary they were fabulous. Fabulous is not cheap and I can not afford to travel at this level every trip, but I will be budgeting for it again in the not so distant future.

My wife and I travelled to Spain and we used Magical Spain. Dan's experience and knowledge to navigate our wonderful trip which included Seville, Cordoba as well as the Alahambra. Would definetly recommend.

This was one of our favorite journeys. We have been on many private/personal tours. Our trip through Spain and Portugal was well organized and thought through. The one time we ran into a minor problem Magical Spain was right there by phone and solved the problem. We thank the group of a wonderful, entertaining, educational, and just plain fun time.

Many thanks to Dan and Rachel for their extremely in depth "get to know you" personal trip planning. I spent over an hour meeting Dan via Zoom during which time we talked about our interests, what we wanted to do and focus on during our 19 days in Spain (21 counting travel days, but who counts those?) how we wanted to get around where we thought we might want guides, cooking classes, etc. An absolute terrific operation with the comfort of having a team on site in Spain.
