magic nothing is one of the best playlisting / music marketing platforms out there!

as both an artist and a curator, i've found some of the best playlists, as well as received probably the best quality music out of any playlisting platform.

by providing a promo market place as well as information ecosystem, i genuinely think the platform is trying to help artist both promote themselves AND make some money at the same time. win-win!

highly recommend it if you wanna level up your game & i'm really excited to see what the future holds for magic nothing!

I’ve been using the platform as a playlist curator for the past few months, and the experience has been great so far. The interface is simple and intuitive, and I like how transparent the platform is for musicians. It’s been useful from both the curator and artist side, and I’d recommend it to anyone interested in growing or monetizing playlists, or promoting their music through playlist placements.

I’ve been using this platform as a curator for seven months now and find it very easy to navigate. It’s very straightforward and well made. I’ve also discovered amazing artists to add to my various playlists (and personal listening). I definitely recommend this platform for both artists and curators!

I’ve tried a lot of playlist portals & this one has been the best so far. It is a little more expensive then other ones like Submithub but I have found the playlists are of higher quality, have real listeners & are curated by artists who know about scenes & genres. Magic Nothing is just that- MAGIC!

When I first found the site, I pitched some songs to individual playlists and got a great forward % for several of my clients. And the playlists that added them got all those songs streams.

Then I was watching a Magic Nothing post on IG and heard Zack suggest we build our own playlist and market it. So I made an appointment to talk to him and I was instantly sold once I heard the details. I started making playlists that night!

I told Zack. "I know a LOT about managing bands and have been making mixed tapes since the 80's but I don't know a damned thing about how to make promo video's and run Meta business ads. So how the hell am I going to make this playlist I created work for my artist? "

He explained the Magic Nothing verified vendors ( meta ad and content creators) program and suggested I reach out to one.

I chose Daily Dosa Music and in less than 48 hours they delivered 10 short video clip ads and started a meta business marketing campaign promoting the playlist I gave them.

After just $550 in ad buys- which can last a really long time at $10-$12 a day- the list had over 3000 follows. All five songs from that artist had over 800 streams while the two closest to top of the list got over 3000 streams each.

So what did I do? I bought more ads to keep the list going and started making playlists for other clients!

Now the playlists I have created as tools to market my clients have enough followers to qualify to be on the Magic Nothing platform for anyone to pitch to.

I'm helping supplement ads for artists I manage with the money I get from submissions. That IS Magic.

I am meeting Friday with the first of two artists I have found through pitches that I want to manage, one I would never have found without Magic Nothing even though he works at a club 4 blocks from home.

No more spending hours pouring over other platforms and spending a ton to pitch one song at a time with no promise of any streams.
I am now a playlist curator who is helping my clients and also helping other great up and coming artists who pitch to my lists get exposure. And that feels good. Very good.

I have been working with bands in some capacity or another since 1990. Magic Nothing is FOR SURE the best LIFE HACK for promoting music that I have ever seen.

And as far as the lists being legit goes- as a curator every two weeks I need to take screenshots of the spin counts of my playlist for 7 28 and 365 days and send them to Magic Nothing so they can rate the performance of that list.

If the list stops performing it gets majorly downgraded on the site

This helps artists using the Magic Nothing see which playlists are most likely to help them get streams if they still want to do things the old way, making Magic Nothing a win win for everyone.

Very in tune to the indie experience. I both pitched playlisting and purchased the course. I never expected my band to reach so many people. We have actual fans!

As an artist marketing my music there are a few things I would offer to others when it comes to Magic Nothing. The first is that they overwhelmingly bleed positivity into the mire that is music marketing for artists. If you don’t follow them on Instagram and need marketing ideas, they are worth checking out. As far as their platform goes, I’ve used multiple playlisting sites before. (Primarily Groover). When it comes to the playlist function Magic Nothing offers, ease of finding what playlists might be a fit was significantly easier. Post my placements the most significant thing I noticed was how the quality of the music surrounding my tunes on streaming platforms has changed. As a smaller artist gaining traction in what my music gets grouped with improved retention and reach. The engagement I saw from the placements I received was higher than with other platforms. (More streams per listener) And I even started to see small amounts of algorithmic movement in my analytics. (On a smaller budget campaign) I think the thing I am most excited about is the thought that is going into the platform itself. You can curate playlists to earn credits to then pitch your own music to other playlists. All in all I am convinced Magic Nothing is dedicated to providing great tools, expertise and services to help the artist find their audience. They are incredibly engaged with their users. Responsive to feedback. Responsive to changes in the industry. And genuinely care about what they are providing artists. I really have nothing but good things to say so far and look forward to what they come up with next.

the spotify playlisting site magicnothing.xyz that also claims to help artists market their music is a scam. do not fall for their instagram / facebook ads!

they take artists hard earned money and their playlist curators write a few words of a generic review and dont playlist the music and still keep the tokens ( money)

if a song is not selected for a playlist the money / tokens should be refunded. they dont refund and that is why its a scam!
