**Extremely disappointing experience – trust in a fellow Austrian was a costly mistake**
I purchased an off-plan property in Dubai through Sandro Stadelmann, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
I was charged a broker commission as the buyer, even though the commission was already paid by the developer. I only discovered this afterwards. In other words, the commission was effectively collected twice – from the developer and from me.
I trusted him, partly because he is Austrian and I thought I could trust a fellow Austrian. Unfortunately, that trust turned out to be a very expensive mistake.
The property itself was another major disappointment. Several amenities and features promised during the sales process were never delivered or were not provided as promised.
I am simply relieved that, after a lot of effort and difficulty, I finally managed to sell the property in November.
