About Slick Removals Slick Removals is a professional man and van, house removals, and clearance company based at 56 Blaby Road, South Wigston, Leicester LE18 4SD. Established in 2017, we are an owner-operated, registered limited company (10717337), VAT registered (490769741), and an Environment Agency Upper Tier Waste Carrier (CBDU401549). As a Checkatrade Approved Member (ID 1140020), our identity, insurance, and trading status are independently verified. Every job is led personally by our DBS-checked owner—the exact person who takes your booking turns up on the day. Transparent Removals Pricing & Equipment We bill fairly with no hidden fees, no stairs charges, and no local call-out fees: 1-Man Service: £59 per hour (VAT included) 2-Man Team: £89 per hour (VAT included) A standard 2-hour minimum applies, billed in fair 5-minute increments thereafter. We run a medium-wheelbase Vauxhall Movano L2H2—sized to fit Leicester's narrow terraced streets so we can park right at your door. Every job arrives fully equipped at no extra cost, including a Magliner pneumatic sack truck, an Evo Super piano skate, Shoulder Dolly lifting straps, a 450kg-rated Sealey access ramp, a Makita cordless impact driver for rapid dismantling, and quilted transit blankets. House Clearance & Rubbish Removal We provide licensed furniture disposal, sofa removal, garage clear-outs, and general rubbish removal. We operate a strict "donation first" policy, working with Age UK at Gypsum Close to rehome usable items. For waste that must be disposed of, we use licensed commercial transfer stations. For clearances, we offer our standard hourly rate plus actual tip fees and a 10% admin charge for complete transparency, or a fixed-price £103 "Micro-Clearance" for up to 3 items within Leicester City. Every clearance job comes with a digitally signed VAT invoice confirming the waste collected, our EA carrier licence number, and full disposal details. Areas We Cover We serve Leicester city and all of Leicestershire with no local call-out fee, covering: Leicester city centre, Oadby, Wigston, South Wigston, Knighton, Clarendon Park, Stoneygate, Evington, Braunstone, Glenfield, Leicester Forest East, Birstall, Thurmaston, Syston, Anstey, Groby, Blaby, Countesthorpe, Whetstone, Fleckney, Kibworth, Great Glen, Narborough, Enderby, Broughton Astley, Kirby Muxloe, Earl Shilton, Hinckley, Burbage, Loughborough, Shepshed, Quorn, Sileby, Mountsorrel, Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough, Lutterworth, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and Coalville. We also cover Rutland and offer regional and long-distance moves nationwide. Booking and Payment To secure a booking, we take a £50 deposit by bank transfer, which is fully deducted from your final bill. Final payment is due on completion before we leave. I had filled a large skip bag of mixed rubbish, all cleared quickly and left clean with a much more competitive price than the larger waste removal service's. Easy to contact with clear communication. Couldn't recommend them more!

Three piece suite removal
Haji and his assistant removed a three piece suite in no time at all. They were very careful to avoid bumps and scrapes. I would thoroughly recommend them.
