Mantel Farm Avis 

Our chickens stayed at the farm whilst we were on holiday,their dietary requirements were all adhered to,and they were returned happy and healthy.Very reasonably priced and warm and comfortable accomodation We would not hesitate to use them again. (The eggs from there are pretty good too!)

Absolutely everything you need for keeping chickens, beautiful birds, top quality feed & equipment, plus excellent, friendly advice. Also beekeeping courses & equipment, as well as other subjects. Highly recommended!

My sister Vicki and I went along for the class on looking after your chickens. It really helped because I had a bad case of red mite in my coop and Jason explained what to do and what products were useful. He was very knowledgeable and experienced and so nice. The setting was just lovely and I really wanted to take all the chickens home. I would certainly recommend Mantel Farm if you want to know anything about keeping chickens. I am now looking forward to some of their other courses.

Cannot comment on my purchase as it is a course which I have not taken yet, but the people at the farm seem to be very friendly and helpful.

I ordered some fertile eggs from Manor farm. I had to email to ask a question and although they didn't reply immediately when they did Dan was very helpful and happy to give me advice. My broody hen will be thrilled when her eggs hatch.

A wonderful company to have locally, can collect or deliver & they’re incredibly helpful & polite. They do everything we could possibly need for our chickens

Bought a chicken and a cockrel at the South of England Show this year. Deliberated about the cockrel but Jason said ANY problem and they would gladly take him back as this bird was excellent temperment. Regretably due to neighbours complaining we made the 170 mile round trip next day to take him back to the farm. Reception there was unwelcomng and reluctant, No refund.

Amazing family run farm .our children chose 2 chickens to be part of our family. Very clean all animals well looked after very impressed . After 1 day our happy chickens laid an egg

Good selection of products, great service, and incredibly friendly and helpful people. I drive well out of my way to get my supplies from here. 5* all around!

I first attended a course on bee keeping in 2019 that was so useful and helpful that it convinced me to keep bees but along came CV-19 that put me back a bit meaning that I didn’t acquire my hives until the spring of 2021 but since then I have introduced the bees who are thriving even though the conditions have not been too good
Naturally I acquired all my equipment from Mantle’s Farm and they were very helpful in helping me to select the right hives and made sure I had all the required equipment.
If I have any concerns is that the shop is only open on Fridays and Sundays and although you can phone and place an order you have to collect and it might be helpful if there was a delivery/postal service as I live about 45 minutes drive away and driving is not very eco friendly

We went to Mantle farm to purchase some pekin bantams. Such friendly owner and staff, very knowledgeable. We took our time choosing and came away with 3 bantams, my children are delighted. Was so impressed with the whole experience, would definitely recommend

Well-organised website, easy to use and to "pre-order". Very pleasant, kind and helpful young man on duty when I went to collect my quails. The quails are beautiful and quite clearly in tip top condition. Overall - very pleased with everything. Only downside was finding Mantel Farm - just wish your sign was a bit bigger and brighter under the trees.

Had a little difficulty finding the farm but a phone call resolved that. Fabulously clean and well managed. Chose my hens and stocked up with feed and pecking blocks. Couldn’t have had a better experience would thoroughly recommend. Will certainly visit again if and when I decide to add to my little flock.
