ArcGIS killer.
We've been using the product for 3 years now. Effective and extremely user-friendly. So far they have kept up with our ever-growing needs in spatial development, and also able to shift more and more of our needs away from ArcGIS, which is always a good thing.

Search function for pins is a little…
Search function for pins is a little tricky. The geo-coding of addresses doesn't always seem to function properly either (i.e. placing pins in different countries). It would also be very helpful to have a zip code function that could be placed over the map for territory building. Our company assigns sales territories based on three digit zip codes.

The good news is we can help you resolve all of the issues which you've outlined in your review. For geo-coding, that is driven entirely by Google's geo-coder. Any misplacement is typically an issue where Google's geo-coder has been confused by how the address is listed in your data set. We can provide you with pointers on how to modify the address information in your data set so that Google's geo-coder can find the correct location and get it placed in the correct location on your map. We also do offer a feature that allows you to use zip codes to build territories. It's called the "Boundary / Geographic Territory Tool". And lastly, the search feature has had a ton of improvements added so we're sure that any issues you've had can be cleaned up. Speed problems can be derived from a large number of different causes (wifi connection speeds, problems with data set formatting and syntax, firewalls, method of tool usage, amount of data, etc, etc, etc). Great software combined with outstanding technical support
I had what I thought was a simple problem: color code California counties based on their average rainfall. I tried several solutions before Maptive. Short version: I finished the project with the help of Maptive's outstanding technical support. They found a glitch in my data. (If your Excel worksheet has a column labeled County don't include the word "county" with the name. It's Alameda, not Alameda County.)
Mapping is a very difficult field, especially for us rookies. I'm grateful for their patience and persistence, even pointing me to a help page I should have found on my own.

I love using Maptive
I love using Maptive! The system is so easy to use and makes creating maps for my job fun! I looked into a lot of different mapping tools for my company to use and this one was by far the best.

Maptive has been the best!
Maptive has been on our platform for several years. We use it to guide people to blood drives and it has been the best map solution we have ever used.
