Maria Nila is TOXIC!! Not natural or healthy at all. After using for 5 months It started making my skin itchy , irritated, gave me a crawling sensation all over and gave me a rash. What a horror story I have been through!! This needs to be taken off the market!! If I could afford to sew this company I would!! Only after figuring out the shampoo, conditioner and mousse were the problem. I checked it out on the Yuka app my friend recommended to me to see what exactly is in these products!! Unfreaking believable it has horrible ingredients!! I'm appalled they lie and say it's vegan!! HIGHLY TOXIC 🤬

Efter brug af color refresh cocoa, fik jeg LILLA HÅR?? jeg skrev til kundeservice, og fik bare svaret “det er nok fordi du har rødt hår, og eftersom rød og blå giver lilla er det derfor, da der er blåt farvepigment i” men jeg har helt blond hår?? Syntes det er virkelig ringe service at det heller ikke er at læse tydeligt på produktet. Så nu går jeg rundt med grøn/blåt hår!! Tak for det Maria Nila

Vi beklagar verkligen att höra om din upplevelse med vår produkt och bemötande.
Cacao lämpar sig bäst för hår i nyanser från mörkbrunt till mörkblond (nivå 2-7), vilket vi informerar om på produktens sida. Färgen innehåller blå pigment (undertoner), och dessa kan framträda när den bruna färgen börjar tvättas ur ett ljust hår.
Då detta är en semipermanent färg, kommer den gradvis att tvättas ur.
För att kunna ge dig bästa möjliga råd och hjälpa dig vidare, skulle det vara till stor hjälp att veta hur många gånger du har tvättat håret sedan du använde Color Refresh, samt vilka produkter du har använt. Dessutom skulle före- och efterbilder vara mycket användbara för att få en tydligare bild av situationen.

Tried their vegan hairspray and my hair got very sticky. Took three shampooings to see a beginning to get back my soft hair. Hoping my hair will be as before soon.
Paid outrageous 39 euro for this crap spray.
DO NOT USE THESE PRODUCTS!

Fantastic products! I’ve been using the cleansing powder religiously in between washes and can honestly say this has made ditch the marking leading brand of dry shampoo which caused me to get a dry scalp. The cleansing powder has mad such a difference to my hair care routine. It rubs in easily which is so important when you have dark hair! And has left my hair feeling and looking fresh for days. The shampoo and conditioner smell great and leave my hair feeling silky and smooth. I’ve also been using the heat protection spray which is lightweight and a great addition to my hair care!

I'm heart broken
I'm heart broken. After having a 72 keratin treatment and fresh colour my hair stylist recommended using maria nila shampoo and conditioner to extend the results of my keratin treatment. My hair was in good condition before and a lot just wanted to get rid of a slight frizz hence the keratin treatment.
After the first usage of this product i already noticed my hair stuck in between my fingers in clumps when washing my hair which freaked me out but thought okay. I've been stressed lately it's must be just that. Because my hair still felt soft.
After the second and third wash this fair loss and breakage in clumps continued to happen as well very bad breakage when brushing. I contacted my hair stylist who advised to stop using this brand and return in with a compaint to salon services where I bought it from.
My hair snapped off in clumps about 3-4 cm from the roots as well as lost of breakage at all different lenghts.
I've alwas had very well looked after hair, rarely coloured or used curling or straightener iron. I'm so angry and disappointed. I just wanted to grown my hair strong and long and now it's completely ruined! Completely lost trust.
I really wanted this product to work because i loved the smell and look of it.

Our products are free from sulphates and parabens and is very gentle to the hair which is also most likely why your hair dresser recommended it. Game changer
I’ve been using Maria Nila for a year now and it’s changed my life!
The Head and Heal shampoo has stopped my itching scalp. Since using it I’ve found I have naturally wavy hair so I bought the curl range and a few other bits. The pearl sliver is insane and I no longer suffer with yellow in my hair.
Best I’ve ever used 👌

Dusty Pink gør blondt hår grønt
Farvede mit pandehår med Dusty Pink, som skulle kunne vaskes ud efter 4-10 vaske. Farven var enormt svag og ville ikke rigtig sætte sig i mit hår. Da jeg efterfølgende ville vaske den ud, med en del hårvask, har den dog efterladt mit blonde hår med et meget grønt skær, som jeg nu ikke kan få væk. Vil advare mod at bruge deres produkt.

Hej och tack för att du hör av dig. Dusty Pink har likt många av våra andra kalla produkter blåa underpigment vilket kan leda till att håret skiftar grönt när den primära färgen (rosa) tvättas bort. Det har med största sannolikhet med att göra att du har varma pigment i ditt hår, så när det blåa pigmentet möter de varma/gula tonerna så slår det i grönt. Detta är dessvärre inget som skiljer sig från andra varumärkte, utan det är så här färg fungerar. I och med att det är semi-permanent så kommer färgen succesivt försvinna, likt den rosa tonen gjorde. Mitt råd är därför att se till att du fortsätter schamponera, gärna med ett starkare schampo med högt ph-värde, men om du använder ett starkt schampo så se till att du har en bra inpackning du kan lägga i efter. Ju mer slitet hår du har, ju längre vill pigmenten sitta kvar, så säkerställ att ditt hår håller sig i bra skick så kommer färgen gå bort. I recently purchased the intense cacao colour which has done nothing to my hair. It’s just made it a tad dark on the ends 😂 I’ll go back to using bog standard box dye for a fiver in comparison to £50 LOL. Save your coin. The product isn’t giving bad b****. It’s giving dip dye b**** No thank you. NEXT.

There are lots of other very high quality vegan hair care that’s way less the cost that works just as good if not better. Shame it’s so expensive and the cost keeps going up as I did enjoy this product just crazy how much they think they can charge for it.

The product is total crap
The product is total crap. I purchased the intense cacao. It darkened my highlighted hair, but it didn't condition it as the website states. Also, I expected it to darken my natural hair a little bit, but it did absolutely nothing. The website is vague about the results on natural hair. I wrote to the company and got this as a response:
Thanks for reaching out to us!! 😊 Our Colour Refresh works best on color treated hair, as mentioned on the site. So, unfortunately, it will not do much to the untreated hair. Regarding returning the product, it is stated on our site that we only accept returns that are unopened and unused.

It is true as we've replied to you by email that Colour Refresh is developed to work on treated hair (bleached/coloured) since it's only a semi-permanent colour. If your natuarl hair is very similar to the Colour Refresh and untreated, the risk is that you will not see a mayor result. All though, I am concerned that you didn't feel that your hair was conditioned after the use. We would love to know more about your situtation like what other hair care products you've used by this time. I tried speaking with the owner about it, but his narcissistic personality prevailed. He’s not going to stop selling it. He must get it really cheap.
Throw it in the garbage if you have it in your house. I have to cut my hair. My heart is broken. I have beautiful shoulder length blonde hair.
I spent a fortune trying to fix it, but the only thing I can do is cut it. I am now working with a salon in Chicago.
Hot mess and to think I paid for it.

My hair is falling out. Every time i shower i have hair all over my body and if i try to wring out the water from my hair before conditioner, i get big chunks of hair in my hand. Im litterally shedding like a dog.

I started using the dry shampoo and the styling spray- I loved both so I decided to get the Luminous Color shampoo… My hair has been falling out in the handfuls. Like many others said, my hair looks heat damaged and not healthy. I also have a flaky scalp and weird residue. Super disappointed, I had high expectations for this product:: not to mention it’s expensive.

Like the other have said, hair is broken snapped and looks burnt! I have really fine hair anyway and thought this product would be good for it as it was mostly natural. I was so wrong…..I am devastated as I have now been left with snapped hair, the top section has snapped off really bad and I am left with a short section that looks so bad. Definitely avoid!!!! Wish I would of done my research first

Jeg har brugt den lyserøde Volume shampoo og balsam fra Maria Nila, og egentlig var begge dele gode nok til mit hår. Men jeg begyndte at klø helt vildt over hele kroppen og fik udslæt. Det var en meget generende og intens kløe. Faktisk så meget at jeg måtte til lægen med det. Jeg har aldrig haft allergi for noget før.

Poor results for what I paid
If I had not spent so much money for the luminous color and conditioner set, I would have thrown it away after the first use, instead I gave it away to someone with a warning. It left a heavy unwanted residue in my hair that seemed to make it water repellent and difficult to wash out when I cleaned my hair again.

We know that hair can react similar to what you describe when the hair and scalp are not used to sulphate and paraben free products.
