Website clear and easy to order. Delivery was quick. Ordered the Hot Chocolate flakes which are delicious and sugar free so ideal for a Type 1 Diabetic treat 😁

Disappointed
I was excited to find your shop in Bury St Edmonds and made a special trip to buy a birthday present of coffee truffles for someone special. They looked very nice and the lady who served me was very pleasant. BUT when I presented them to my friend on her birthday a week later and tried them !!! No coffee flavour !!! Just chocolate, I was very disappointed and embarrassed as my friend loved coffee creams and I thought your coffee truffles would make a nice alternative. I think they are still sitting in her fridge!!

We are disappointed to hear that you felt that our truffles did not live up to your expectations, and are slightly confused as to how this could have happened - we have not received similar feedback before. I would suggest that a truffle is unlikely to have the same flavour density as a fondant due to the competing flavour of the chocolate, but the truffle should still taste of coffee, even if less strongly so. Also, we would never recommend to store the truffles (or indeed any chocolate) in the fridge - rather the taste and texture are much better enjoyed at room temperature. I have passed your feedback on to our kitchen and requested that the chocolatiers complete some taste tests to ensure that we are happy with the flavour profile of the truffles that we currently have in stock, and we hope that we can tempt you back to our shop to try some of our other products in the future.

Always an excellent and welcome present.
We often order Marimba chocs online whenever we want to give a special gift. They are always excellent chocolates. Occasionally, we eat them ourselves when the waistline permits!! Just one point to record. Somehow the box seems always to be packed upside down and that is how they are delivered. We thought at first it was the courier, but it looks like the original packer. As a result, the chocolate is sometimes smeared on the inside of the plastic cover of the box. A small point, but it happens regularly. It won't stop us ordering your exquisite chocolates in future however.
