As a new subscriber my experience is very positive.
My main reason for joining is that satelite tv does not provide Stingray Classica anymore and Mezzo has no good HD Quality.
I watch and listen Dance, Jazz and Classical music and Opera.
My biggest wish for improvement is lossless audio.

Scam of a company. Do not give them your money. I have been trying to cancel my account since the beginning of February and whilst they state they’ll respond within two working days… after multiple attempts, I have still heard nothing and my account still isn’t closed. I’ve even attempted to contact through social media as well as email and their website and it’s like watching tumbleweed!

I absolutely love this concept! I am learning with ChatGPT how to appreciate each performance. I love it. I hope you continue to expand your offerings (would love to see the Met here in one place). One small suggestion for the future: can you use Claude or GPT to translate the opera subtitles please? Also please include the curtain calls and all the applause. Makes it feel more immersive. Thank you and bravo!!

Marquee offers a vast selection of arts programming such as theatre, music, dance, and visual arts documentaries from legendary performers and companies across the globe. It's a great way to experience performances that would otherwise be inaccessible without constantly traveling, including time travel!

I was disappointed when they stopped offering the discounted rate for arts professionals that was in effect when I first signed up, but honestly it's still an excellent deal, offering an entire year of all the art you can consume for the price of two average seats to a single show.

Compairing it to other streaming platforms, I would like to see more plays and more variety. There are a fair number of operas and concert performances, which are great. Not many modern plays or contemporary productions. 

A fabulous and deep resource for the Arts.

The TV app and website work well. The content is varied and updated regularly. It feels for me, more like something you would dip in and out of periodicly with a monthly payment rather than comit to annually. But it's well worth keeping up to date with their content.

Nowhere else can I see such a great variety of live theatre, ballet, and documentaries.
As a fan of Shakespeare, there is so much to see on Marquee

Excellent quality of a variety of categories. But it is hard to navigate within the two collections of Beethoven sonatas. Also, I wish there were more classical pianists in your listings.

I signed up hoping to see a greater variety of plays. At the moment it’s all Shakespeare.

Day 2. After a disappointing experience (cf comments on Earnest) Today Marquee redeemed itself with an excellent biography on Hayden and a behind the scenes look at rehearsals for Verdi's requiem, and a biography of Edward Hopper which was intelligent, thoughtful and well scripted. Thank you.

I have been most pleased with the diverse and excellent roster of ballet, dance, and dance-related movies offered by Marquee.tv. It is a joy to sit down to a deep well of such carefully chosen performances. Thank you.

An all Elgar programme of fine perfromances of which Sea Pictures sung by Beth Taylor was riveting on account of the drama and passion she brought to this song cycle.

Overall great experience, I watch it mainly for the ballet and wish there were more older ballet recordings available to stream! Also, there are a number of documentaries about the Giselle performance available on Marquee TV, except they're all the same despite being named the same - just to make you aware.

I absolutely love the content. The ballets, plays, and operas I watched so far have been excellent. The only complaint I would possibly have is that every once in a while when go back or rewind, it starts the content from the beginning. This could be more to do with my application or streaming service than the actual service itself. Regardless, that is a very small price to pay for otherwise in excellent service and excellent content. Having the opportunities to see these performances, I wouldn’t be otherwise able to see, is a privilege.

When I first subscribed to the service it had some archival theater plays, many Shakespeare plays, and little else. Now the theater offerings are even leaner, with almost nothing else but Shakespeare.

High quality productions, not enough theatre. Every Shakespeare you can think of and done well but there are so many wonderful plays and musicals, why cant they be available for the amount paid.
