Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the process. All my queries were answered promptly and effectively and all communications were dealt with efficiently. Excellent service.

I needed a statutory declaration which is a walk-in service and costs £5. This is a set fee which cannot be exceeded. This laughable company insisted on £10 cash and when I advised £5 is the maximum they can charge, he refused to do it.

I hope that people see this and realise what apathetic staff work here. I don't know what obligation they had to do this for me but this is a standard service and the company's attitude was poor.

During the year 2022/2023 ..I used the Potters Bar Branch of Martin Shephard Solicitors for Conveyancing services both for selling and buying .In particular I worked with Sarah and Abi. I hadn't been involved in Property for 17 years so for Me this was quite a difficult experience. Sarah and Abi were very supportive and provided the insight that was required..they were always ahead of things ..were proactive..despite the difficulties that came from the Vendor...I am grateful for their recommendation that came from the Estate Agents Castles.

We were selling a flat and Martin Shepherd was acting for our buyer. However their inactivity and inefficacy contributed significantly to the appalling length of time that the transaction took to complete. They would often take over 10 days to reply to standard emails and so exchange and completion were delayed again and again. Our buyer was doing everything he could to get them to do the work he was paying for, but their constant inactivity meant that the transaction didn't complete until a few days before the buyer's mortgage offer was due to expire.

This caused an enormous amount of stress and distress to both us and to our buyer.
