Marvellous Escapes Avis

Laurie listened to our requirements for our holiday, came up with a great proposal and then made a few tweaks in response to our comments to come up with a fantastic package at a competitive price

Excellent response from the representatives at ME. Charming manner, extremely helpful and very reactive to any questions. Would recommend using this company based on my experience.

Great help , super customer support, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional.
I would recommend marvellous escapes to friends and family.

While browsing the Internet looking for holiday companies that did train journeys through Switzerland I came across Marvellous escapes, and I'm so glad I did.
Initially I just wanted a quote as my holiday was going to be over a year away but after a call from Laurie I was able to plan a perfect itinerary and book it straight away.
We have just arrived back from our holiday and everything went smoothly the hotels chosen for us were spot on and we appreciated all the recommendations for restaurants from Laurie. Laurie has also been on hand throughout the year for any questions I had whether it was to do with the weather or what to wear. Having a WhatsApp chat is brilliant and knowing someone is on hand to help while you are away gives you that peace of mind.
We would definitely use Marvellous escapes again and will be recommending them to anyone and everyone. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

Hayley was terrific, explaining the details of the trip I was hoping to make and giving me time to look at the itinerary and the hotels before booking. She was better than any travel agent and knew her company's offer inside out. My holiday is booked now and I'm looking forward to it with absolute confidence.

Hayley was great. She got the holiday me and Sarah wanted. She was so patient with me and her customer service is great.

Although not involved with the initial planning of the holiday, on reviewing and discussing the itinerary with my friend, we asked if various alterations could be made, both in methods of travel and changes of dates.
Olivia was always courteous and obliging, eventually coming up with what we hope will be a great holiday.

I wanted to take my partner to Norway for her 6oth birthday to experience the Flam railway etc and made contact with Olivia Price at Marvellous Escapes.
The itinerary she came up with worked perfectly from start to finish and my partner love the trip, so much so that we will likely go again nearer Christmas when the snow will be there and I will be in contact with Olivia to arrange.

My appointed travel rep, Laurie, was professional, engaging and friendly throughout making the whole process very simple indeed. She was so very helpful in making suggestions and catering for all our needs. A truly excellent service. I would highly recommed them.

Prompt respone. Courteous and helpful staff - nothing to much trouble. Excellent communicators.

Everything was so easy. Laurie was so helpful and made our dream trip to Switzerland a breeze. Everything was very well planned. And the stress from planning was taken away and made easy. Cant wait to book our next trip.

I have just come back from my third trip booked through Marvellous Escapes and I can never fault them on a single thing! Fantastic customer service from start to finish - right from initial advice on itineraries to coming home with a call to check the trip went well.

The hotels I’ve stayed in have all been amazing and despite me always travelling with a budget in mind, I’ve had some real gems.

I truly believe that if it wasn’t for the advice of Marvellous Escapes (my personal travel adviser is Laurie and she is so lovely!), I wouldn’t have seen or done half of the things that I have.

I cannot recommend them enough!

I contacted Marvellous Escapes, spoke to Haley and discussed a rough itinerary for a tour of Italy. Hayley came back Venice, Bologna, Florence, Rome, Pompeii, Naples and Sorrento. All Tours went extremely well with very knowledgeable guides. All hotels where very good and well located for train travel which I have to say was exceptional. The sites and experiences were fantastic. First none beach holiday we have taken for decades and boy will we be doing something similar next (Hayley already on it) we would of liked a bit longer in Venice, budget matters. There were a couple of changes which occured but we were informed of them straight away and to be honest they were better than planned. I'm in my seventies and found it all very easy and everyone was very helpful and friendly. Marvelous Escapes & Haley well done.

From the first phone call I knew that this company was going to offer a great service. We travelled to Norway fir the Norway in a Nutshell trip. Laurie was very attentive, and really understood what I was looking for in this trip, taking into account our preferences for the type of accommodation we were looking for. Another colleague, Paul, even managed to book the seats I requested on the rail journeys - I wanted to sit on a particular side for the best views!
I usually travel independently but on this occasion I needed support as I was travelling with a friend who required plenty of support. Having all the transport, hotels & trips booked for me meant I was free to support my friend without having the worry of booking tickets for the trains. It was great to know that, should I need any assistance, I could call any time, 24 hours a day knowing that help would be on hand .
The information pack was excellent, clearly laying out the itinerary , along with contact numbers for the hotels.
I definitely recommend Marvelous Escapes.

Olivia was patient when discussing our plans and willing to change things even at the last minute.
I found her very easy to deal with and at no point did I feel pushed into making decisions

Our holiday was very well planned out from start to finish Fabulous destinations and very good accommodation all set up by Hayley Norris who was very professional and helpful . It was our 40th wedding Aniversery so we wanted it to be special and it was.

Olivia Price designed our trip to Paris , Switzerland and Italy very well.
She was professional pleasant and friendly.
She was very patient and had great communication skills. Her colleagues like Paul were very helpful too.
We are looking forward to our holiday .

First experience with Marvellous Escapes and was impressed. Olivia was professional friendly and courteous. Looking forward to the trip that has been arranged for me. Olivia thank you.

Trip of a Lifetime! - From start to finish Marvellous Escapes and particularly Hayley helped us achieve our fabulous holiday to Switzerland, Venice and Paris with a trip on the Orient Express! It was the first time we did this type of Holiday - all by Rail and had a number of connections/hotels throughout the trip. The Itinerary and Instructions were extremely well put together and easy to follow and the whole trip was planned perfectly - We were very apprehensive as we had previously done package holidays or cruises but should anyone be thinking of doing something different and needs some expertise and knowledge to put their holiday together, then I would highly recommend Marvellous Escapes.

Excellent holiday to Switzerland. The itinerary was personally tailored to our requirements, the company even arranged for the Glacier Express experience to happen on my birthday, which was a nice touch. A couple of the hotels were a little further away from the railway stations than we would have liked. As an elderly couple with luggage in an heatwave this was a minor problem for us. We would of welcomed some guidance on how to get to the hotels easily. For example in Zurich we could have used a tram, and in St. Moritz we could have used an Escalator from the station to the main street. The company were very helpful when a train was cancelled which resulted in a missed connection and provided us with information on an alternative train to use. On the whole, I would highly recommend this company
