I love their ghosts and so do all the people I have purchased them for. Have bought in the shop (which took some finding) and online without any issues. Prompt delivery and friendly customer service.
All the ghosties we purchased have settled in very well. We love the little souls. All of them that we have collected have surprised us when we open the box. So well made, so well painted that they all look like they have true characters. My husband in particular loves receiving them as he is very ill and he really loves ordering them and scrutinising them when they arrive. Its given him an interest. Even got a house to put them in. Delivery is prompt and you get to earn points which is an excellent idea.
A trusted company, my 3rd purchase, as always beautifully made, packaged, and sent to me, the Ghosts are made to order and are beautifully finished, an unusual and delightful gift, each comes with an original short story, a certificate of authenticity, and a small ghost companion, I would recommend this company, the figures are very collectible, I will purchase again
BEWARE!! POOR 3D PRINTED OVERPRICED PRODUCTS
I didn’t visit the shop, I purchased online. The opening line on the website said ‘Handcrafted’. I chose the ‘Bobby’ ghost as it has a strong personal connection. The image on the website looked amazing. Stunning ghost. I paid £40 for the ghost and couldn’t wait for it to arrive. However, upon opening I could not have been more disappointed. Not only was the ghost broken, (arm detached) but it looked absolutely NOTHING like the image on the website. It looked like I’d ordered off AI and it had arrived from WISH. The added parts were in the wrong places, lumpy, a 3D helmet badge on the stock image and what arrived looked like a 5yr old had painted. It also had visible 3D printed line completely round the ghost and a scratch. Yet it had the cheek to come with an authenticity certificate. I emailed to request a refund and to return the ghost. I got a response saying the ‘maker’ was upset. Funny considering these are clearly made by a machine with bits stuck on after. I got an email then to say a returns label would be sent out shortly. Nothing arrived. So I sent a follow up email after a week to enquire. They never responded again. Clearly the intention from them was to keep my £40. For the first time ever I had to go through my bank for a visa chargeback. Even my bank couldn’t believe how poor the product was. Needless to say my bank found in my favour promptly.
Do yourself a favour and avoid these very poorly 3D printed made and incredibly overpriced rubbish ghosts.
Makes you realise just how well made York Ghost merchants / Cambridge Ghosts / Rose Lee and the many other makers of beautiful hand made and painted ghosts are!
A definite case of BUYER BEWARE and lesson learned with this company. The ghost collectors are a community and word travels quickly. Also add in their woeful customer service to go with their woeful ghosts.
Never again!
