I have ALWAYs used the Mavis in Valley Stream BUT NO MORE!!!!
I have ALWAYs used the Mavis located at 241 E. Merrick rd in Valley Stream BUT NO MORE. Eddy & Raj (Raj who is NO longer there) have ALWAYS been very decent managers to deal with. BUT this manager (older person with a white beard) is a CROOK. Not only was he late by almost 20 minutes I had to wait an additional 40 minutes to be attended to (mind you, I arrived at 7:50 a.m. and was not checked out till after 9:05 a.m. & there were already several mechanics on duty by 8:30). I came in for a simple license plate light bulb change, a job which took no longer than 13 minutes to complete. I was charged $40.00 that is highway robbery. If that is how they intend to operating then it is time to find another place that will not take advantage of you.

We do not charge by how long the job takes us, but rather, what the book value is of the job which is standard practice. We are happy to investigate this further for you! I had a nice experience at Mavis, Valley Stream. My car was serviced promptly and efficiently. The Customer Service Representative was professional, courteous and gave me the impression that servicing my car was a top priority.
