I ordered McAlister's Catering for a work lunch. The boxes were customized for each person. The food was great and Brooke went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect!

Poor Customer service . @Crestview fl location

Went here Monday night between 8-10pm for a pick up order for a customer for doordash and the Manager that was on shift name is Heather was very rude . Throwing people food down in the kitchen Window and tell someone there not aloud there when all they were doing was standing there with me and got told to leave . Your not welcoming here and some other stuff that you had no business saying .when all he was doing was standing there waiting with me on a doordash order in the lobby., that by now is blocked and probably no longer get orders from there because of Heather .

I wouldn't want to order from here now due to that Experience. Thx

The French dip we ordered was flatter…

The French dip we ordered was flatter than a pancake & very fatty as well as gritty. We bought it “to go.” I usually love the McAlisters we frequent in FL but this was so awful I think we are done going there. I would rate it zero but of course that is not an option.

"ONE MORE TIME!!!" 2+1+3

I have now tried on two different occasions to order from McAlister's Deli and redeem my T-Mobile award points, but to no avail! 1.) I had a very difficult time registering. My attempted login kept stating that my passwords didn’t match, even though they did match when verified. After registering my passwords, I placed an order and headed to the deli. Driving above the speed limit, I arrived at the deli around 8:25 PM. I saw one of the workers coming toward the front door and thought she was bringing me my order. Instead, she was coming to lock the door, which she did. I called customer service and received the usual “I’m sorry” script. 2.) On day two, I called McAlister's and spoke to the manager, Ari, to ensure I wouldn’t have a problem. He assured me there wouldn’t be, but I still experienced the same scenario as the day before. Now I’m on my way to try placing an order one more time. Let’s see what happens this time.

For the third time, at 8:03 PM, I was unable to place an order! McAlister's wasn’t taking orders using T-Mobile reward points. Kaitlyn, the store manager, stated that corporate had stopped accepting reward points because they had exceeded their limit on May 14, 2025. There were no disclosures posted by T-Mobile nor McAlister's Deli regarding the acceptance or non-acceptance of reward points. Buyer "BEWARE" if you are using any promos for McAlister's Deli.

Pretty Disappointed

I will begin with, I have normally enjoyed visiting other locations of McAlister's. It is a chain and has average food. For this review, I am specifically referencing the Willis, TX location. I have visited three times since they opened. First visit was just okay. They had just opened and they were giving out coupons for free tea and other coupons for your next visit. Well to most people, not me. I did not receive any coupons. When I got to the register to order and ordered a sandwich, chips and tea. The cashier asked if I received the free tea coupon when I came in. I said no. So, she charged me for the tea. Now before you attack me, I'm not a cheap skate and I wasn't honestly looking for any discounts when I walked in but you just told me they are giving coupons for free tea today? Sandwich was okay. Second visit, long, slow line again, waited almost ten minutes with only one person in line when I arrived. When I was at the counter, I ordered a French Dip. I was informed they were out of baguettes. Umm, what? It's about 1:00/1:30 pm. You are a sandwich shop, right? They just ran out, didn't order enough. I left without getting a sandwich, explaining to them I was disappointed. The person next to the cashier, who I assume, was a manager was very nice. I have no issue with him. He handled himself very well. I went back two/three weeks later, ordered a French Dip, chips and ice tea. They had what they call, baguettes, so filled my order. When the order was delivered to the table, my chips were not with the order. I did get them, after I alerted them. When I looked at and picked up the sandwich, I noted the "baguette" was basically soft like regular bread. In my experience, a baguette has a harder, sort of crunchy exterior and soft on the inside. This is what makes it better suited for dipping into au jus. The sandwich was a real disappointment.

Now, onto my other issue with McAlister's overall. Since the Willis location opened and I figured I would be visiting them on a regular basis, I joined "the club", so I can earn points and order online. I attempted to use the app during my first visit and it kept giving me an error message about waiting five minutes. I attempted to scan the receipt several times the next few days. Never worked and after three days when I scanned it, it told me I have to scan my receipt within three days. Well...third visit, same issue. Five minute error at least ten times over the next three days. Sent an email to McAlister's from their website and received a poor response. Apparently the agent didn't read my email. Advising me I had to use the original receipt with all the items listed on the receipt when I scan it for the rewards. He also did not address the fact that my app has not worked since I downloaded. Yes, I explained this to them in my first written contact note. I have replied to that email with a picture of the receipt I've been scanning but have not heard back. At the end of the day, I'm pretty disappointed with the Willis location and McAlister's overall.

I waisted my time and money coming

I waisted my time and money coming, I ordered a Southwest Chicken & Avocado Salad. They need to add on the description that the chicken is frozen cold and also the salad.

And I didn’t know people at southwest ate frozen chicken on salad that’s probably why they are zero friendly. I tried to explain to one of the cashiers and she walked away when I was talking.
Save your money, don’t go to the McCalisters at the Gainesville Ga

Paid extra for more meat in our…

Paid extra for more meat in our sandwiches and seems we got less. We reviewed the restaurant in Bloomingdale before and got no where. That was a couple years ago. We thought things had changed. They hadn't. It was a reply filled with excuses and deflection, not customer satisfaction. So no more business from us. He said to come in, avoid the fees and he'd give us a couple pieces of cake. We ordered delivery because I'm in my 70s, disabled and can't drive and he can eat his cake.

Ultimate Nachos

I bought Ultimate Nachos and the staff member taking order was very helpful in making suggestions. The chips and everything about the nacos were fresh and crispy. Taste was ideal.

We ordered food online and picked up in store. My daughter did not check the bag and we were missing a sandwich and the toppings for the ultimate nachos. Our error for not checking but their error for not checking outgoing orders. I called immediately and spoke with manager who said bring in receipt and they will give me store credit. I didn't want store credit, I wanted a refund for the missing items. I go to store next day with receipt and wrote managers name on receipt. Asked for manager when I got there and some kid comes up, doesn't greet you at all, etc. He had to call I think José. He reimbursed me for sandwich and regular nachos. My receipt showed ultimate nachos as well as me telling him, said I ordered and paid for ultimate nachos and thats what i should be reimbursed. I was not looking to get entire order reimbursed only what i paid for and didnt get. He shorts me 15 cents on nachos and also the tax for two items. Errors occur but this entire experience has shown me what restaurants to avoid. They really need to get some customer service people who know how to interact with customers whether good or bad.

A company that disregards customers

McAlister’s as a company has little to no regard for the customer. After almost always having something wrong/missing with my orders (and receiving poor attitude or complete indifference from staff when the mistakes were politely brought to their attention), I stopped visiting on a regular basis; but I had plenty of “rewards points” accumulated over the years that I had never used in my account. It was never clearly communicated, nor did I receive any sort of notification/warning, that points expire. But recently I saw that my rewards balance was zero. I contacted customer support and was met with indifference, even though it seems unreasonable to delete thousands of points with no attempt at communication or warning to a customer first. They refused to restore the points, even as a one time courtesy, which just illustrated how little they value their “customers”. Frankly, I am disgusted by this company’s blatant disregard for those who patronize their restaurants, and I vehemently recommend AGAINST ever visiting this company’s establishment ever again.

Received incorrect dried out sandwich…

Received incorrect order of sandwich with dried out roast beef, skimpy slice of turkey and soggy tomatoes. Received Memphian instead of New Yorker. Employee behind the pass-through window with no hair restraint eating and drinking. While it was a disappointing experience, the wild crows seemed to have enjoyed the Memphian sandwich I gave them. Never again Hot Springs, AR location.

Killeen, TX McAlister's is great!!!

Love our McAlister's Deli here in Killeen, TX! Very friendly, professional staff, and their meals are always delicious! However, the company website "app" is extremely difficult to use from my iPad. Have to use excessive navigation to correctly place an order. When I eventually got to the 'shopping cart', the order was incorrect and I had to try correcting it. I eventually just closed the 'app' and placed my order in person. Would've given McAlister's a "5", if the company's 'app' was easier to use on my tablet.

Manager of Allyne Park location, Greenwood IN

Thought I had ordered from Allyne Park location, but failed to hit place order button. The manager checked other locations to see if I had chosen wrong location, upon my finding I didn't place order, he placed my order and even brought it to the car after providing water for my dog. Excellent service and great food. Thanks to the manager at St Rd 135 McAllister ! Thanks for helping an old lady.

We were in McAlister's in Gainesville…

We were in McAlister's in Gainesville last night and were very disappointed. I ordered the Pecanberry salad and was really disappointed. The strawberries in the salad were over ripe (rotten) and there were no pecans on the salad (hence Pecanberry salad). There were three of the lettuce centers in the salad. The other order was for the chef salad and that salad was almost all spinach. Then to top that disappointment off, we wanted a refill on out tea and we were told they were out of sweet tea and we would have to wait 10 minutes for it to be made. For the amount we paid for our two meals we should have had better food. Not really sure I will be back anytime soon. The service is definitely not what it used to be.

Again

Again, Loren and Asia made the experience at McAlister's enjoyable. Their attitude and interest in providing customer service is outstanding. They are exceptional employees.
