Broken promises, low quality, stolen money
I tried working with Meet Socks to get socks produced for my company that was already manufacturing them in the US.
I sent them detailed design specifications, and a physical sock so that they could duplicate it. I was assured they could match the design and quality of my US made socks.
It took 3 months just to get a sample made, even though they told me it would be weeks.
By the time I recieve the samples, they were not what I was promised. The design was wrong. They simply ignored certain aspects of the design. The colors were very off on 1 of the designs.
The materials were low quality and the composition was not the same as my US made sock. They told me it was "combed cotton" but it most certainly was not. That would never pas for combed cotton in north america.
After sending details with photos and diagrams outlining the mistakes of the samples, I was promised re-samples would be done in 2 weeks. Time went by, and no communication. So I followed up and was told that it's Chinese New Year, so samples probably wouldn't be done for another 2 months. No apology, no concern.
I followed up again in March, and they said another few weeks.
So I asked for a refund for the sample fee since they clearly didn't intend on delivering what was promised. They refused and told me to go away. They essentially wasted my money and time for months.
If you are expecting good quality and professional treatment, do not work with Meet Socks.
They significantly hurt my business as I ran out of inventory while this was going on and could not continue making sales.
