We hired a motor home to explore the West Coast of Scotland in October this year.
Excellent communication throughout the booking process and handover of the motor home. Arranged a late drop off as we were travelling back from Loch Lomond on the Saturday. The vehicle itself was perfect.

From the moment I bought the gift vouchers for my husband’s birthday I knew we were in safe hands.
When we went along to book our weekend away Mel couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everyone is warm, welcoming & this is reflected in the congruent service they all offer.
It is very comforting to know John is at the end of a phone call for any queries whilst out in the van.
We loved our time away visiting the Black Country living museum & Surrounding area.
Things have significantly moved along in terms of comfort & technology in the campervan world. There is everything you could possibly need included. Only had to take our bedding & towels, food & trusty air fryer.

We had a fantastic week in our camper van from Melling motorhomes.
The weather looked terrible in September so we chased the sun and ended up in Norfolk and had a fantastic time.

Recently returned from a trip around the 7 Stanes mountain bike trail centres in Scotland with my mate.
We needed a decent sized vehicle that would store electric mountain bikes and enable overnight charging. The Motorhome we hired had an ample sized garage at the rear that could easily fit two bikes and lots more besides.
It was the first time I had ever driven any vehicle bigger than an estate car so I was a bit wary.
However, John and Mel soon put us at ease, with their easy going nature and sense of humour. They explained everything regarding the Motorhome in a very thorough but easily understandable way.
The Motorhome was new, in great condition and equipped with everything you could possibly need, except bedding and towels. After getting familiar with its dimensions it was a joy to drive.
I would highly recommend Melling Motorhomes, great vehicles and lovely people.

Great welcome from Mel set us up for a Motorhome first trip!! The condition of the vehicle was excellent and all aspects were in working order. Kelly and Dave came to the rescue when the motorhome we own broke down just before going on a long trip. We hired one of their beautiful motor homes at the last minute and they couldn’t have been more helpful in getting us on the road as quickly as possible. Fully recommend this family business 👍

Great introduction when we arrived, lovely camper van very clean, could do with a toaster I missed my toast in a morning kept burning it on oven grill, that’s the only gripe we have, other then that I will be using them again no problem, brilliant service thank you

The whole team are amazing, so friendly, not saying they can do this every time as I know they a normally very busy but arranged everything the day before collection. The motorhome was amazing, kids loved it, great demo of the motorhome on collection left with a great understanding of all its features.

Drop off was so simple, I had not filled up the gas on return but they are located at a petrol station which has the capability there and they helped me do it. I got there early enough to do it myself before the agreed time but the team assisted me.

Just nice people with a great product so highly recommend.

From the first phone call staff were helpful friendly and more than happy to give advice especially with it being our first motor home holiday.
All correspondence was helpful and on time.
On day of pick up the whole team were friendly and helpful and the motor home we rented was fantastic, very clean and well maintained
In returning the motor home staff were just as helpful and friendly making things easy
I would definitely recommend for anyone looking at renting a motorhome.

Ease of communication with Melling. The motorhome was very well presented, we enjoyed the travelling and we found the van easy to use both on and off sites. We had a really good holiday and would highly recommend Melling, they had everything covered. Thank you.

Kelly was really helpful in recommending a motorhome we could try out for our first adventure. We booked an Autoroller 746 for a weekend and counted down the time to our expedition. When I arrived to collect, everything was ready and Kelly talked me through everything and how things worked. Great advice regarding black and grey water, electric hook up etc. The 746 was a Ford Transit based motorhome and was equipped with automatic transmission. I found it really easy to drive and the reverse camera was very useful. You have just got to check mirrors and remember the overhangs!
We had a great trip to Loch Tay in Scotland and found we had everything we needed as the Motorhome was really well equipped. Highly recommend and we plan to have another go in the autumn.
