I messaged this brand on Instagram a pic of me and they picked an entire skin care routine for my shade, they obvs could not decipher skin type but I order things in phases.
I’ve been using their concealer in the shade bone that they recommended and it’s perfect, the a week or so later I sent them the same pic on insta and they recommended clay in the bronz balm, I haven’t got it yet but I just know it’ll be perfect because they told me on Instagram!
They have someone full time look at your picture and decipher your shade when you don’t have time to go in store, obviously it can be wrong sometimes but I’ve done it twice now and they have been spot on! I would 100% recommend!!!!

Don’t trust the website!

On my order page it said I was getting free shipping, however on checking out they charged me an additional £7 for shipping. I contacted them to ask that they refund the shipping charge or cancel the order but they have refused to do either. I will definitely not use them again.

Be carefull if you order from Italy: my order was not delivered due to a mistake in the civic number of my address and Merti has offered me NO SUPPORT AT ALL. They eventually stopped answering my emails asking for support and even if items have bee shipped back to them by italian courier GLS (they also did not offer any support to me to solve the problem), they still do not answer my request of a refund. I have probably lost my money and this is a shame. Seriuos companies behave different

I saw all the bad reviews after I had already ordered a foundation stick. I just wanted to post my positive experience since they had a lot of bad reviews. My foundation stick was sent out right away. It works great and the color matches.

Doesn't respond to emails

Ordered and received their complexion stick, which was not the right shade. I used their shade match service to find my recommended shade. Everything was fine until I replied confirming I wanted the replacement shade and have still not heard anything back for over a week despite multiple attempts at contacting. I don't really know where to go from here so I am leaving this review in attempt to get some kind of communication.

Excellent customer service! Beautiful products!

Having read bad reviews after I’d ordered I had to feedback my absolute delight with the excellent customer service I received and the lovely beautiful products.
I ordered on Boxing Day and received the products today! ( 30/12)
The winter set is so lovely with beautiful shades, I already had a merit eyeshadow so knew it was good quality.
The free makeup bag is really nice too.
Excellent customer service, excellent products, I recommend!

TERRIBLE customer service

Emailed them before an order was even produced to cancel- they said couldn’t cancel order but could “return to sender via USPS” upon receiving. USPS says you cannot; have waited well over a week with no communication from Merit despite multiple attempts at contact. AND the makeup is over priced and orange tinted. Terrible company

Absolutely awful service

Absolutely awful service. Had not realised the date and being they are american my items wont arrive in time for christmas as a gift. No more than two minutes after buying I emailed as per their website to cancel my order. They then told mw I cannot cancel what so ever due to their ‘expected processing times’. Now i run an ecomm brand and know this to be an absolute lie. They are now ignoring me so i will be proceeding with a chargeback claim. Useless customer service. Useless company!!

Never Received and No Response

My daughter ordered a product that I typically purchase from Sephora, but this time she wanted to surprise me with the free holiday gifts offered. The order shows as delivered, yet we never received it. It has now been a week since we contacted customer service through their only option—email—and we have not received any response. My 16-year-old daughter is genuinely upset, as she was trying to buy me a holiday gift. Due to this experience, I will no longer be purchasing my eyebrow gel or any product from this company.

Shocking customer service.

I ordered from Merit on the 29/11 and have still not received my order. I contacted the courier EVRI and they have lost my parcel! I have been emailing Merit for the past week asking for their help but I am just being ignored. I am so disappointed - I have been really impressed in the past but unfortunately Merit have let their standards slip. I appreciate it is a busy time of the year however I would expect better customer service. Perhaps if you cannot cope with the volume of your orders/customer enquiries you should make some changes?!? I wish I had not ordered from you, this was a Christmas present and now it is too late for me to re-purchase.

Order still not received

Placed an expensive order over a month ago now and still not received it. There is only an email address for customer services so you’re at the mercy of whether they decide to email back. I’ve emailed twice now with no reply and no indication of whether I will receive what I ordered. It was also a Christmas gift so I need to spend out on something else now. I trusted them because of their partnerships with some influencers I follow, but please steer clear.

Incomplete order

I have waited more than 2 weeks for my order to arrive, contacted customer service about this and got no response. I finally received my order and now it is unfortunately incomplete: i ordered two flush balms and only received one. So I have waited more than 2 weeks for an incomplete order. Very poor service, I want my money back and will never order here again.

Placed an order 10 days ago and still…

Placed an order 10 days ago and still not received. I understand they might be busy due to Black Friday but they haven’t even bothered to send an email to say this. I emailed them 3 days ago to ask where my delivery was and still no response.

I have purchased from merit before and love their products but this has made me think twice about any further orders.

No customer support

The brand is so well known on socials, I never checked Trustpilot reviews!

It’s been 2.5 weeks since my order and I haven’t received anything. Evri say my parcel is lost and it’s up to the seller to rectify it, but Merit say I need to contact Evri.

Their response time is over a week and they don’t care about the customer experience at all.

Very Disappointing Experience — Still Waiting for a Response

I placed an order and received the parcel, but the products I purchased were not inside. I immediately contacted the company by email requesting either the items I paid for or a full refund, but I haven’t heard anything back yet.

I’m disappointed with this experience. I just hope they resolve this soon and send the products or issue a refund as soon as possible.
