Have been here before for an AA warranty issue so thought I'd book in for MOT. Did so online through 'book my garage'. Turned up at 8:10 on the morning (opening times showing on booking as 8am) to be told they don't open til 8:30, mechanics wouldn't be in til 9 and it would be at least 9:30 before they looked at it (I'd put on my booking that I would need to wait for it to be done). I was basically called a liar and told to either wait or go away and come back later- I went but won't be returning. Now I've read their reviews I'm glad I left!

Set of crooks. Took our vehicle in to fix something minor, they blew the engine up, then tried to charge above the odds to do a reconstruction. Vehicle was a write off. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, this will happen to you. Turn into ghosts when you try to talk or hold them responsible.

Professional, knowledgable, honest service at a reasonable price. Will go again and recommend to others.

My car went in for repair, they replaced a part that was not the problem & they damaged my car in the process, patched up the damage they had caused, then rang me to collect.
At no point did merlin mention this to me when i collected my car.
I know what merlin have done, and i dont trust them to put it right.
Avoid.

Scammers scammers scammers, simple as that. Tried to take my daughters car back to them as they gave a 30 day refund policy, they said their business as was out of the country (they use that a lot) they then blocked all our numbers. The owner is Mr Farhan Yasin of 4 Saga Street, Castleford, England, WF10 if you need to take him to county court as we are doing

Harris from Merlin Motorway sold me a vehicle that was unfit for purpose and not as advertised. They advertised a 30 day money back guarantee and are now claiming that they cannot process this for me because "the boss is on holiday" and have now BLOCKED MY NUMBER. I have had the car for 1 week. Absolutely disgusting lack of service, the car was filthy when it arrived; inside covered with tobacco and food scraps. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THESE SCAMMERS.

I needed some car body paint work doing. I had 3 areas of concern. Someone recommended Merlin Motors. I made contact and arranged for my car to be checked over. I received a good response from Merlin and agreed for the work to done. I could not have wished for a more professional job. Good price and excellent work done. My car was off the road for one day.

I broke down on the way from Lancaster to Hull, the alternator had gone and I was stuck halfway between home and my hospital appointment.
The RAC came to my rescue and took me to Merlin Motors. The staff there were incredibly friendly, professional and efficient.
They let us stay in their office as their customer hub was under renovations.
Their service was efficient, friendly and very reasonably priced.
In particular the owner was very welcoming and sympathetic, and the receptionist Emily made sure we were comfortable and kept up to date on what was happening. Being in their office also meant we heard and saw a lot of the interactions between staff and phone calls to customers and suppliers. These were all conducted with an impressive professional manner.

I was very impressed, they really saved my skin in a difficult situation. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Amazing service very polite guys! I could not recommend anyone better than Merlin. They helped with my car I had no clue! They explained the fault to me so I understood.
