I am super satisfied with the service i have received at Meru Accounting

I only started working with Rushabh & his Team a month ago and already they have reviewed and processed 6 large sets of Accounts for clients of mine

Excellent service - i have been recommending to all my associates

Meru have helped correct several years of mistakes made by other accountants. They are professional, fast and overall great to work with. Highly recommend their services

UPDATE 5/26/24: I hired Meru 9/27/23 and fired them 12/13/23 because they never delivered any books and never refunded my deposit. On 12/18/23, Meru typed a phony fake list via email to falsely document work they never did. They used this fake list to lie to my bank and refused to return my deposit. They’ve never provided any proof of actual books because they never created any. They stole $509.85 from my company without doing any work, and they continue to lie on review posts because they don’t want to keep losing new business.

UPDATE 04/29/24: When I requested a refund because Meru Accounting scammed my company, they refused to return my deposit and lied during my bank's fraud investigation.

My bank created a chargeback for $509.85, but Meru lied, simply stated they did the work, and provided no evidence of any work. Unfortunately, my company was left victimized by this scam and to this day has not been made whole by Meru.

Meru's access was removed from my QBO after they missed several deadlines to complete our books from 09/2023 - 12/2023. I obviously had to hire a new bookkeeper and replace Meru. Not only was my company scammed out of $509.85, we lost valuable time because of Meru's negligence. It took months to start all over submitting all of our statements and receipts to a new bookkeeper.

To this day, Meru continues to lie about work they didn't do. Now, they are stating that they paid me back, which is another lie.

Thankfully, hundreds of people are reading my reviews on every platform, and my experience is helping others to avoid doing business with Meru Accouting. Rushabah, Harnish, and Viana Shah are professional scammers and cannot be trusted.

Meru, the scam you set up to steal money and time from my company is already backfiring against you. You will continue to lose even more than the $509.85 you owe me, and you will continue to miss new client opportunities because of your dishonesty, your lack of integrity, and your lack of remorse. All of this could have been avoided if you had done the work you promised to do, or at the very least returned my money.

BUYER BEWARE!!! MERU ACCOUNTING IS A SCAM. They charged my company $509 deposit and never did any work. After 5 months, Rushabah & Harnish Shah never delivered A SINGLE bookkeeping file. They kept making promises, but nothing was delivered. I see other people had a bad experience and left negative reviews for them during a similar timeframe. I had to hire a different company, & Meru refused to return my money. I sent emails that our project deadline was up, notifed them that I had to hire a different firm, and they still refused to return my money. To this day, they are still invoicing me for services not rendered. What a scam! They've shown no remorse for taking my money and wasting my time. Do not trust these people. Rushabah and Harnish Shah are professional scammers preying upon hard-working people like me. All they did was make excuses. Do not send these people at Meru Accounting ANY money. You will regret it. I am filing public and official complaints because they are thieves.

My company has used Meru Accounting for more than 5 years now. We are happy with the service. We have used them for both accounting and tax preparation.

Meru team provided us with two VAT registration numbers in the UK.
They did a great job, and did it quickly.

Beware for complex inventory management and high level e commerce accounting look else where you would be wasting your time and money. They will bill you excessively for their junior book keepers you won't be saving anymore money. not worth the headache.

Extremely disappointing experience. Lack of professional courtesy & commitment, not following through the pre-decided rates.
1) The monthly rates for future months included catching up on past months. But after 20 days, they deny it, and instead charge me full monthly fee on backdated months. No bookkeeping company even in US charge like that for catching up on past months.

2) NO single point of contact with decision making

3)Tried setting up several meetings to resolve the issues. Later, they booked a meeting - still their senior decision making POC Rushabh didn't show up, and instead wasted time following up with other juniors. They agreed to provide me another quote for catch up months of 2023 in 2 days but then they instead stopped responding completely.
Got a refund of $100 plus a wasted month in waiting.

The folks at Meru Accounting are great at what they do and charge a fair price for it. I’ve used them to keep my books up to date for my Amazon FBA business, and it’s a great help to be able to focus on what I’m good at as opposed to what I know little about (accounting!). They’re also extremely proactive about nudging me to deliver the statements and other information they need to do their job well, which I appreciate. Meru team provides excellent customer service and is attentive to clients' needs. Although there's room for improvement in their availability for in-person sync-ups ( more US-specific times), I recommend Meru to anyone needing reliable and knowledgeable accounting professionals.
