Apparently the app is easy to use . I’ve been with them for over a year . Recently I tried to scrap my gold which was valued at 426 and they didn’t refund me the scraped amount . I got 100 bucks from these lot . And I’m still waiting for my refund . Apparantely they said it’s gon take 10 workin days but it still not processed . Absolute scumbags

Do not use them its a scam put £340 in and get back £156 less than half might as well throw money into the street
also redeemed my gold and still waiting for pay out and then they take more from my account and nobody to contact do not use these people its a scam.

I been waiting for more then 6 days for my refund also there is no way to get in touch with them is absolutely scam company I been robbed 300 pound and also they have high rate fees hidden! Be careful before you make commitment with them !

My experience with Metfolio has been nothing short of third‑class — confusing, poor‑value, and extremely frustrating from start to finish.

I signed up for their £50 monthly gold subscription, expecting a fair deal. After two payments (£100 total), I checked my account and found I had only 0.45 grams of gold. With the market price sitting around £111 per gram, the numbers simply didn’t add up. The value I received was nowhere near what I paid, and it left me feeling completely let down.

Trying to cancel the subscription made the situation even worse. There is no clear cancellation option anywhere on the platform. Customer support appears almost impossible to reach — emails go unanswered, and the live chat is just a bot loop with no way to speak to a real person. It feels like the system is designed to keep you stuck.

At this point, I’m having to contact my bank for financial advice and to try recovering my money. Based on my experience, I would strongly urge others to be extremely cautious. The positive reviews online do not reflect what I went through, and the value you receive compared to what you pay simply makes no sense.

I kept buying gold for about nearly one and half year and noticed the amount of gold they give you for money is about half or even less than half of actual value of gold and also they want you to buy more gold to get physical delivery and dont even have options for 5,10,15,20g gold bars that are very easily available in the whole market.if u want to sale amount of gold in the app then they pay you much less than market value aswell.Which is insane.They should keep a reasonable margin for themselves.

If you want to see a return on your investment then this is NOT the way to go. They miss lead you with both the buying and selling price. Once I realise I immediately pulled out what I had invested and lost over 60% of what I’d put in. Daylight robbery!

Do not buy into this. I bought £100 worth of gold and realised I had like 0.45 grams for that price. You ca literally buy 1g bar for a little more than that.
Absolutely no customer service. Scrap value was £36 absolute joke. Yeah I guess I’ll have to cut my losses on this one. It’s just a scam worst app ever used.
