I bought a skerrit plant
I bought a skerrit plant. Thought it would be interesting to grow a few of the ancient vegetables that we don't see anymore. When it arrived I put it in a big pot and it didn't skip a beat, is growing nicely. Its great that midsummer herbs is growing these plants. There's nothing better than researching the past and finding out what we've left behind due to modern techniques, that might still be useful.

Linaria Vulgaris - Fantasticas....
I finally found the plants I had been looking for and the price was reasonable. The plants arrived very quickly in perfect condition and are thriving despite the extreme weather we have been having in Canberra. Checkout was simple so it was the perfect transaction. Can't wait to see the flowers.

Beautiful, healthy plants well packaged in compostable materials as a bonus. Wonderful selection of some less common plants, including the Hoja Santa I’ve been looking for.

I've ordered from Midsummer Herbs a few…
I've ordered from Midsummer Herbs a few times. I love the wide range of plants I can't find anywhere else. Seedlings always arrive healthy and all are growing well in my garden.
I would love to see the owners expand their range with seeds. And also some work on the website would be appreciated. A search function and sorting in/out of stock would help, otherwise I have to flick through the entire section page by page to find what I'm after.

There is a search function on the website. You will find a hot pink circle with a magnifying glass in the middle in the top left hand corner of every page, this allows you to search both the website and blog posts.
