Beautiful plates and bowls
I have purchased from MIJ twice buying Ramen Bowls and now plates and on both occasions they shipped my order quickly on a next day service. The bowls and plates arrived well packaged in Japanese newspaper. The products themselves are beautiful and far superior to anything sold in regular shops. Care and quality is obvious and we love them. I will continue to buy from MIJ. Highly recommend this website and their products.

I’m really pleased with the Humade…
I’m really pleased with the Humade Kintsugi Kit I bought from Made in Japan. The packaging was neat and arrived on time. The kit itself is high quality, the glue and gold powder are easy to work with, and the instructions are clear and straightforward. Repairing a favourite mug felt almost meditative, and the final result has a lovely, understated character.
I also like the idea behind Kintsugi, giving new life to something rather than throwing it away, and this kit makes that whole process accessible. I’m genuinely happy with the purchase and would happily recommend it to anyone curious about the craft or looking to repair a piece they care about.
