Faulty Part- no resolution
I have had a MINI Cooper for 4 years and in last 6 months a fault with a display cluster became apparent. On contacting MINI they were unable to book me in at Christmas time to review and suggested I went to another garage to get it fixed. I went to two BMW garages who separately completed diagnostic tests and no fault was shown. On contacting MINI and BMW finance I have had no resolution and been driving with no speedometer consistently working. I sent a formal complaint to BMW and have had no satisfactory response or apology for selling me a car with a faulty part but just a request that I pay for a test to see if that part was faulty in the first 6 months.
It is with regret that I have sold the MINI and bought a VW, if MINI had resolved this I would have continued to but MINI's as I did love the car but now I wont be back.

Avoid avoid avoid Mini Assist. Paid into it several years, 1st time i need breakdown assistance i was told we ‘don’t have a technician available in your area - all on holiday, not back until 8am in the morning.’ Shocking! Any woman alone - or anyone else - could be at a dark roadside late at night - what then ? Presumably they would have to sleep in their car until ‘Mr Technician’ is back off hols next day! Not good enough my contract is for a roadside technician provided 24/7 , not just a pick up truck. When the technician did turn up/back off hols next day he told me he ‘couldn’t touch it as i might be liable’ and could only tow it to the Mini dealership 46 miles away. Due to same, i doubt v much they even sent a technician. After my car was repaired and ready to collect from the Mini dealers, someone from Mini Assist rang me on my moby whilst i was out walking my dog to say they would arrange a taxi, FOC under my policy, for me to go and collect my car. This person promised to ring me back at 2pm when i got home, but never rang me, i was just sat there, ready to go, waiting and waiting for the promised call back. I then tried to get through by phone to Mini Assist to find out what was happening and was just put on hold for half an hour, listening to endless music, before being pinged off to chat lines with no-one answering the chat lines either. So i had to arrange and pay for my own taxi - then Mini Assist rang me whilst i was on my way, several hours later, (over 2 and a half hours after the promised 2pm call back) and it would have been far too late by then to get to the Mini dealership before they closed. They also rang me on ‘no reply’ type numbers, so you cannot ring that number back immediately, or at all! COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY and possibly highly dangerous if your car breaks down /as above !! Dont fall for all the online ‘we are marvellous’ blurb, the reality is very very different !

Worst customer service ever
Bought a new mini electric came to its first mot and it failed on tyres found the reason was tyres where two yrs old at time the car was new and unregistered . Told mini dlr to to contact mini uk to be told to go back to dealer no one wants responsibility . I’ve bought three new minis for my wife and one for my son never again . I’m looking to now reject the car through finance company .

This is a review about the bootle mini garage where I am still waiting on the manager to get back to me after I put in a complaint about possible fraudulent services and being missold a policy in January.
I am really concerned that the services I’ve been given in the last 12 months are fraudulent because they say completely different things even though I’d not had any work done in between them on my car.
I pay for a service plan and when I recently asked what it covered the man who sold it refused to give me my agreement.
I am so unhappy with the service and would not recommend them to anyone. I think they are very sneaky and rob your money.
Mini Roadside Assistance
I hit a pothole that punctured my tyre in a cotswold village. Mini Roadside Assistance was great. The customer service operator I spoke to gave excellent service. With an estimated time of 60-90 minute recovery I thought was far as I was in the middle of nowhere! However, 9 minutes later Chris from Mini Roadside Assistance arrived. He changed my tyre and then escorted me back to a garage to get a proper tyre fitted. Thank you Mini Roadside Assistance.

If I could give zero stars I would. The Mini Connected Customer Care department is beyond incompetent. I have now had 9 different people email me with no resolution. They obviously don’t maintain records or read the emails as repeatedly they reply on the back of one of their colleagues emails and the mess they have made is getting worse. The original case number was 07520466 but based on their service so far I don’t think they looked at it or even updated the information. It started with a failed payment, they said I had 14 days to change payment details which I did. I then contacted them to check all was in order and no one could tell me! And the saga began. the experience date date started is unlikely to correspond with the case number as the case number arrived in in March. I’m at a loss as to who do next
Watch your credit files!
I never had problems with Mini Finances till they've decided to take one of my payments later than should. This lowered down my credit history as lot! Since Covid I try to build my credit history back and I was doing well till Mini Finances destroyed it for me for unknown reasons. I've contacted customer service and after 2 months of waiting, they told me that I've missed payment so Credit History is correct! They can't acknowledge their own error, My money was avalible in my bank on the day payment should've been taken, it was only Mini Finances fault, not mine! I was contemplating taking another car with you but nah, I can't do with liers
Difficult to use screen.
New mini 2024. The heating controls are impossible. Why why have mini decided to make their cars so difficult to drive. No Fun. No wonder they get such bad reviews.

Disgraceful Company - Do Not Purchase a Mini
I received a recall letter for my Mini so I booked it in. Despite being assured the tire would be inspected while the car was in, it wasn't, leading to a flat. MINI Roadside Assist took 4 hours to recover my vehicle, sent it to the wrong Mini branch I requested, which as a result delayed the tire replacement process. It also took them nearly 48 hours to provide a courtesy car, which had numerous issues, leaving me carless during my busiest work period, where I use my car for work. I was basically doing their job trying to sort myself a courtesy car with the hire companies whilst working 10 hour days as the same time. One agent even put me on hold for 20 minutes only to come back and say the exact words 'I can't help you' and hang up immediately. My formal complaint has gone unanswered for nearly a month despite frequent calls and emails, being passed from person to person, and empty promises of being told I'd hear from someone immediately. This lack of responsiveness and poor service is totally unacceptable and I have never in my life experienced this level of unprofessionalism and frustration from a company. I urge you to think twice before purchasing a Mini as I'd hate for anyone to go through what I did.

We purchased a Mini in Hull . The staff was amazing. Jamie who sold us the car was friendly , professional and nothing was too much trouble. There no pressure to buy and the experience and relaxed , enjoyable.
Awful Customer Service
Absolute nightmare trying to get through wait for almost an hour to get cut off twice! Promised a reply by email by 5.00pm that night no reply called back 25 mins later after speaking to someone who hadn't a scooby put me through to a machine that told me to phone back when they're open absolutely awful customer service and this was one of MANY calls

Mini flex insurance are an absolute JOKE! My dad died in October and this is still ongoing and they are still responding with the most ridiculous emails advising that they are unable to renew the policy (we don’t want to renew it we want to cancel it. This has been dragging on for far too long and they kept asking for it to be renewed and saying the registration plate doesn’t match what they have on the system?! They were informed that he was deceased instead of reading the messages properly they kept sending messages to a deceased man’s phone! Joke! Something that’s already hard enough to cope with - is made so much harder with people that don’t do their jobs properly and making it extremely difficult and upsetting!!! They incapable of carry out their job role! Thanks for NOTHING and thanks for making my mums life a living nightmare with being so inconsiderate to the situation!!!!!!!! 🤬
Mini Blackpool
Mini Blackpool - MOT booked for 1 pm, waited and was completed around 2.20 pm - outcome - new wishbone needed - quoted nearly £500, also recommended replacing another part whilst at it - not strictly needed, by advised may as well due to age (2017 mini 55000 miles) all in all over £600. Now I am not the kind of person to replace things that do not strictly need replacing so declined and went elsewhere to do the work - local garage specialist in BMW repairs - wishbone replaced for £215. Returned to BMW for MOT and passed. Few days later, wanted to leave feedback -their website was full of positive feedback, but could see no link on their site to actually leave any feedback -so filled in contact form and queried how all the positive feedback got on there with no links to leave any feedback, and that I wanted to leave feedback. They must have seen what was coming and did not even reply. So here it is on Trust.

This is my second Mini and I consider myself as loyal customer..
I paid the final balloon payment in full as I decided to keep the car, up to this decision I was bombarded with phone calls, emails asking if I wanted to exchange the car for a brand new one, as soon as I said no their attitude changed..I contacted this one particular employee to arrange the final payment but heard absolutely nothing after four attempts..I called Mini Financial services in the end after three days of them leaving me on hold and eventually someone did answer...I paid the final balance and WITHOUT A THANK YOU from the women that took my payment, I was really annoyed and found the whole experience really frustrating and depressing that nobody cares about their customers any longer...The show room wasn't much better, they just want to sell you a new car and when you don't want this option their attitude changes too..
72 Reg Mini Cooper requiring £962 repair
September 2024 I bought a used 72 reg Mini Cooper from Inchcape Reading. Their personal sales video for me described it as being in very good condition. After purchase it became clear that there was a serious issue with the windscreen. Inchcape Reading were made aware of the issue and the car was returned to them for inspection. They did so but declined to repair it. We subsequently got a second opinion from another Mini main dealer who said they would not sell a vehicle in that condition and gave an estimate of £962 to remedy. I also contacted Mini UK to assist at this point but they were able to have no impact on the outcome.
I have been left to fund this repair myself and seek refund via the small claims court should I wish, but want to warn others of my experience.

I love my mini.. I drive mini's since nearly 10 years now,
but now where I'm about to buy a new car, there is a really terrible change in everything.
After 2 test drive's now I'm not ready to buy a new one, the quality and the new models are far away from a matching price/quality ratio. Hope this goes lower soon.
I give still 4/5 stars, because there is no other car for me.
Mini flex insurance took a policy out…
Mini flex insurance took a policy out on my car without my permission or authorisation, ( I already had insurance ) they then took £58 from my back again without my permission, when I then asked them to cancel my policy and refund my money I was told you have to wait 7-10 working days !! This is non negotiable and they don’t care how much hardship this causes it’s basically “Tough “ I’ve had 4 brand new mini’s and the latest one will be the very last one , flex customer services are a disgrace and have basically taken money from me without my permission and then said you will get it back when we are ready , funny how I can buy a mini with the swipe of my bank card and yet Mini do not have the ability to do the same when you asked to be refunded.

I have a PCP agreement which is nearing the end and I wish to review my options.
I call in October to understand options and am told I need to do nothing "We will write to you outlining all options"
Yesterday I receive a text "We have been trying to contact you to discuss your option" NO YOU HAVEN'T! No contact from Mini at all.
I call today. The person I speak to is difficult to understand and insists he is unable to send anything to me in writing until he has read out a 'script'. After listening for a interminably long time I interrupt. "I can't understand you and there is too much information to take in. I just want to see my options in writing"
I do eventually receive a text with a hyperlink which doesn't work "Something went wrong"!
With all of the focus on Finance mis selling have Mini learnt nothing????
I am still non the wiser and have no options to review
