From buying my car to BMW assist to servicing and mending my car under warranty and using 3 different dealerships I can honestly say that I am totally and utter dissatisfied, disappointed with my purchase .
I don’t think that there is anything wrong with the car itself but the way you are coerced into pretty much everything is disgusting . Anyone thinking of purchasing a Mini .... do not use BMW Assist . Do not use the warranty and do not have your car serviced by them . They are trained to rob you anyway they can
VERY POOR OR NO CUSTOMER SERVICE - FOBBED OFF!
Bought a brand new 2019 plate mini from a branch of Mini Sales and within three months noticed footwells of both drivers and passenger side saturated. It has now been three and a half weeks of complaints and our car being in the service centre for them not to be able to find the fault even though they acknowledge there is a serious fault and the car is under warranty! Spent 21K on this car and now we have been over three weeks without our new car, have a hire car arranged by Mini under warranty but threatened every day with the fact chance we may have to pay for this hire car. Our car is in bits in the service centre, still with the same fault it went in with and they refuse to put it back together until Barons Borehamwood (where we purchased the car) or Mini UK tell them what is happening and we are left in limbo because no-one will return our calls or emails!!! Mini profess that their customer service is second to none - what is should say is their customer service is NONE!
Worst new car experience ever.
So far, tops my list on the worst car buying ever. I convinced myself that purchasing via Mini's Approved Used programme would mean a trouble and cost free experience. So, after forking out lots of money on a 8 month old Cooper Classic and driving it home, it's been sat on my drive for nearly 2 weeks. Now I'm having to loose money taking a day off work, to get the car to my local Mini garage, and sit and wait all day for a diagnosis. While I'm sitting here, I thought I would occupy myself by writing the desrved review. Let's see what the next few hours bring. Personally, I'm not hopeful.
I did vent frustration at Mini on social media but got platitudes - our apologies and that's the way it is. What did I expect?
I have to state its my worst experience ever, as every car I have previously owned, I have been able to use, certainly in the first fortnight of having it!
My advice - stay clear.

I have to agree with the previous review, I have also experienced awful customer service both from MINI UK and the MINI dealership. Exactly the same happy to take your money but then extremely unhelpful, I will never purchase a BMW or MINI again the service just doesnt compare to the experience I have recieved from other similiar brands. BMW/ MINI need to take a serious look at the dealers and the after sales service that they offer.
Its such a shame because the car itself is fabulous.
Back to AUDI for me with my next new car.
Worst Customer Service Ever
Unfortunately I have experienced some of the worst customer service in my entire life from Mini UK. I would like to give full details of the way I was treated, but I haven’t got the patience or energy for them anymore. When they try to sell you a car they are amazingly helpful, as soon as they have it they are not.
I have been passed around from person to person, £6K taken from me without consent, constantly blaming errors on technical faults. No one takes ownership of mistakes and somehow turns it on the customer, as if it’s their fault.
I will never purchase or have any dealings with MINI or the BMW group.
Exceptional customer service
I booked my car in at Mini chelmsford for a diagnosis and Livvy provided exceptional customer service and is a real asset to your team. She kept me up-dated with progress throughout and the mechanics sent a video explaining all the issues that they found.
