I booked my holiday Cuban Tour
I booked my holiday Cuban Tour, with Virgin Travel in January, for October. In June they changed my week. I paid in Full in July. Post Hurricane Irma I repeatedly called into the branch I booked at, to inquire about cancellation or not. I was told to pack and be ready. September 25, I had a telephone call in the evening cancelling my holiday with no alternatives. When I asked about other dates to include January, I was told flights may not be going. I have been waiting for a refund for over a month. It has been one thing or another. They have deprived me my money and opportunity to book and pay a holiday elsewhere with their competitors. They have repeatedly refused to send me confirmation of Their cancellation in writing, for me to get my refund from my banks under section 75. Letters to their customer service and CEO at their headquarters have resulted in nothing. It is well over a month on, I have wasted my week's holiday from work, no holiday, no money. Intervention from managers at the store they rent space have resulted in nothing.
My conclusion is Virgin Travel personnel are very arrogant, incompetent and indifferent to providing any customer service let alone good one. After my experiences, they may as well be a 'cowboy' company. I would never trust nor recommend Virgin travel to anyone.
