From malware to malware
Not only the website has me download it's proprietary download manager instead of the file I want.
Also, it managed to escape my adblocker and popups lead me to various malware websites "your_file_is_ready.exe"...

I can only agree with Chris' post. It's actually a cool idea to offer it as an app, but I don't like the fact that it's now required.moreover, some mods are sometimes not found in the app, while they could be downloaded from the website.if you share my opinion, you should take a look at modyolo

Moddroid is Safe, but doesn't work.
Moddroid is generally safe, so you do not need to fear malicious software on your devices.
However, recently they've moved from downloading via the Website to App (when downloading on web, it downloads the app instead).
The app has ruined Moddroid for me, almost everything needs an update (with no way to do this, which was easy on web), most of the mods don't work anymore.. so with some very small exceptions, it's entirely useless.
You can attempt to contact them, of course, however it is NEVER replied to.
Even if you do actually manage to play a game, within a few months you'll get an update message and that's all your progress and time gone.
This has only happened since the App was forced upon users. And now Moddroid is jot fit for purpose, and it's best to search for an alternative 'safe' provider.

Be careful my antivirus just found a VPN app downloaded on moddroid.com, It contained a Trojan virus. The apps are all fakes don't download it.
