I had a really disappointing experience with this company.
I ordered a wine and golf–themed gift basket for my manager, based on the product photos and description on their website. What was delivered looked nothing like what was advertised. Instead of a golf-themed cookie, they included a Christmas cookie — completely off theme and inappropriate for the professional setting this was meant for.
When I contacted customer service, they justified it by saying substitutions are allowed and that I agreed to their terms and conditions. I understand substitutions for unavailable items, but this was not a similar replacement. The entire theme and presentation of the basket was different, which defeats the purpose of ordering a themed gift in the first place.
Rather than taking accountability, they essentially implied I should be grateful they delivered it quickly and that I shouldn’t expect a refund — even though it did not resemble what I ordered. Extremely disappointing customer service and misleading product presentation.
I would not recommend this company if you’re expecting to receive what you actually paid for.
