On a personal note, I was disappointed that my order was accepted on 9/27 and then canceled via email (which I did not receive) according to customer service, on 9/29. If shipping is not allowed to certain states, the system should notify the customer at checkout when the address is entered, offering alternative shipping options or products. It is frustrating for a purchase to be accepted, only to receive a cancellation email days later.
Additionally, it would have been helpful if the company sent a text message in addition to an email, knowing that emails are sometimes blocked or not received. As of today, I have been unable to locate the email that was reported to have been sent.
On a professional note, I have frequently recommended MontiPlanet to early childhood education programs, including startups and homeschool families. The products are well-made, durable, and easy to maintain. Sadly, the minimal effort in customer service is the main reason for my 3-star rating.
I suggest improving the process by clearly noting countries, states, and provinces where vendors cannot ship to, and providing multiple methods of communication for order issues.

We're truly sorry for the frustration caused by your order being canceled. We did send an email explaining that our supplier couldn’t deliver to your address in Hawaii, but I understand how disappointing it must have been that the message never reached you.
