We found the combination of buying through a company with a warranty and some back up but still being able to meet the owner and talk to him about his ownership of the Motorhome and getting some tips was ideal.

This was the easiest selling experience I can imagine. I had tried selling privately but had been pestered with dealers pretending to be private buyers identifying fictitious problems with my vehicle and then offering to take it off my hands for a fraction of its value.
I was contacted by Chris from Motorhome Marketplace who explained the services he provided. He visited a couple of days later, checked over the motorhome, suggested a price he thought it could sell for, he fully explained the process and the arrangements. There was no pressure on me to sign up, although I did.
That was effectively the end of my involvement with the process as Chris ran everything after that. I actually went on holiday a week or so later, having arranged for Chris to get access to the vehicle as and when needed, and it was whilst I was away that he phoned to tell me that he had taken a deposit on the motorhome at the agreed price and arranged a handover date after my return home.
From taking multiple photographs of the van, creating an excellent video and organising all the advertising Chris kept my updated on events.
I would have absolutely no reservations about recommending Chris Byres and Motorhome Marketplace to anyone considering selling a motorhome.

Right from the initial WhatsApp message Rupert was an absolute star! I didn’t know they made salesmen like this nowadays. Rupert answered all our silly questions quickly and politely, he accommodated our viewing while he was on holiday. He even updated us on our purchase while on the plane home after a sadly shortened holiday. He was patient and calming with us when our bank messed up the payment. We bought an incredible motorhome and are so happy we stumbled across this company. We had a minor issue with our purchase 3 days after and Rupert sorted it with no fuss and super quick. We live in a remote part of Scotland which made it more difficult to sell our motorhome but Chris went above and beyond to ensure that we got the result we wanted.
