The Motorpoint staff were all very helpful and efficient. We drove away with a car on the same day and only waited 90mins while they prepped it. A big thank you to Matthew and Abby!

Overall buying process worked well.
However I went through the process of ordering and paying for a dash cam for the new car.
After about 4 days awaiting to know how to proceed with the fitting etc. I rang customer service, who promptly responded with the contact details. Arrangements and appointment made. The dash cam fitter turned up 4 days later. He asked me for the for dash cams. I told him I had not been given a dash cam. Now 10 days into my car and dash cam purchase. I now need to get hold of customers service.

All staff were excellent and extremely helpful - the process of buying was very quick. The only downside was the standard of valeting which was poor. I recommend the valeting company currently used be changed.

Luke was very friendly & helpful although not pushy.
Only issue I have had has been some confusion over supply of dash cameras, but hoping this is being dealt with following an email.

Polite and professional staff. Able to walk around the site without any hassle but they were available if you had questions. We were able to test drive the car we were interested in and the handover process on collection day went smoothly. I would recommend Motorpoint to anyone.

After being messed around by Carwow, I tried Motorpoint instead. They paid exactly what the instant valuation said with no messing around, and the staff instore were very helpful and advised me how to get the maximum price possible.

Enquired about a vehicle last night whilst at work response was instant so well done for that here’s where it goes down hill-I asked about number of owners and service history only to be bombarded with texts and emails to try and get me to reserve the car.i replied several times asking the same two questions and got ignored everytime they were only bothered about me reserving the car,Motor point why would I reserve a car that your either reluctant to tell me or don’t know the details I’m asking for?then to top it off I was asked what time I’d like to be contacted today I said afternoon as I work nights my phone went off at 8 this morning I perhaps wouldn’t of minded if it was to answer my questions but again it was just to see if I would reserve,absolutely ridiculous

A word of caution for all those people who are thinking of selling their car to Motorpoint.
I recently sold my late fathers car to Motorpoint. I completed the online valuation and was given a price of £33,147 which I was happy with so I made an appointment to handover the car.
When I arrived amongst other things I was asked to provide the service history. I called Mercedes and they provided that.
The sales executive said it did not have a full service history, and the last service was done late and the next service was overdue, therefore they had to reduce the offer down by £1,400.
When I explained that the services had followed the Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Management Digital Extra schedule, he argued that this was not to be relied upon and became quite belligerent.
The facts are the 1st service was done 14 days early as per the service record and the 2nd service was not due for 56 days at the time.
Today I received an email form Mercedes stating the car was due for a service in 4 weeks time. As far as Mercedes are concerned the next service was NOT overdue. So am I to believe Motorpoint or Mercedes with regards to the service schedule? I think we all know the answer.
At best this came about due to ignorance and poor training of staff, at worst it was down to sharp practices by Motorpoint
I have dealt with Motorpoint over half a dozen times over the years, this will be the last time I do so.
This is a fair and accurate review of Motorpoint Widnes,

Daniel was extremely helpful and friendly. He got me a decent trade in price for my own car. Not once did I feel pressured which is something I’ve felt many times when previously purchasing cars. This time was a nice experience.

I booked a car online with a confirmed collection appointment at 11:00am at Motorpoint Widnes, two days after making the booking—ample time for the vehicle to be properly prepared and inspected.
On arrival, I was asked whether I was browsing or collecting. After confirming I was collecting, I was directed to sit in the café area. I then waited 45 minutes (until 11:45am) without any update, despite staff clearly seeing me waiting.
When I was finally shown the car, I immediately noticed a dent in the bodywork. When I queried this, the staff member appeared embarrassed and admitted it had not been properly checked. I was then told the car could not be prepared that day due to being fully booked. I requested to move the appointment to the Manchester branch, which was agreed, but I was never contacted with a new date or time.
Shortly after taking the car, I received a warning indicating there was no air conditioning gas, suggesting the vehicle had not undergone basic checks prior to handover. Additionally, the brakes began squeaking during normal use.
I paid nearly £26,000 for this vehicle The service I received was extremely poor. The long, unexplained wait, lack of communication, failure to carry out basic inspections, and overall unprofessional handling made this the worst car-buying experience I have had.
On a positive note, the trainee, Lewis, who handled the final handover was very helpful and did his best in the circumstances.
Given the amount spent, I expected a far higher standard of service.

The car I wanted was in another garage. I spoke to a member of staff and within 1 hour everything was arranged from the moving of the car to the garage of my choice and finance etc in place should I wish to proceed after viewing the car. 1 week later I went to view the car and within 30 minutes I was driving away in my new car. Friendly, efficient and great service received, a very stress free experience!! Thank you Motorpoint!

Yet again in the market for a newer car so off the get George to help us decide. A really great caring and professional guy that help all the way through the process. After making him work for his money we decided to buy about the 5th car we viewed/tested. Price was good too.

After initially sending a message about a car at another branch i received a phone call to say the car wasn’t available & if they could find one at another store (Widnes had 3 variants of what I was after), also if I had a car to part exchange , I was offered a really good price for mine ( subject to viewing) so the following day i went to the Widnes store at 10am to check them out, spent a little time on my own checking the cars out found the one I wanted so went inside to speak to a salesman (Rob) he was very easy to speak too ,not pushy or giving a hard sell , we took the car for a test drive & by 1pm i was driving home in my new car after getting the quoted price for my trade in . Very easy to do business with no pushy salespeople as I found at a couple of other car showrooms, well looked after & really good experience , would definitely recommend them

Really impressed with the whole process of buying a car, no pressure at all and felt like they were genuine, the staff were all really polite and helpful, everything went very smoothly.
