Buyer Beware

Ordered a book from Motorsport-Merchandise.com as a Christmas present for our son in Canada. Entered his Canadian address on the site which was accepted and the postage was recalculated. Paid the required amount and received confirmation of order. Two days later received an email saying my order had been cancelled followed by another basically telling me it was my fault for not checking their shipping charges for which they now want £40. I wrote and explained that they knew the books dimensions and that it was to be sent abroad when they took and accepted my order but they have yet to respond…. so no book, no reply and no apology as it was all my fault.
They have now responded having read my review. Still no apology and still putting the onus on me for not overriding either them or their system when they accepted my order and payment having been given all of the facts regarding book required and destination. Unbelievable!

As a book weighing over 3kilos cannot be covered by our standard website shipping rates, depending on the country we ship to it can cost anywhere between £40 and £50 to ship. The website price of the book is £15 and the published shipping charge is £7.99
We do include the following in the website listing description for the book:
International buyers PLEASE NOTE As this book weighs over 3 KILOS we will need to add a shipping surcharge of £20 EUROPE and £40 REST OF WORLD ~ PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE
The customer was fully refunded

I purchased an umbrella from this…

I purchased an umbrella from this company on the 21st of November 2022 for a birthday present. It was dispatched the same day which I thought was excellent. Got an update saying it would be getting delivered in 2 days time by EVRI.
EVRI still have it 9 days later, they’ve never tried to deliver it, and I can’t get hold of them to find out what’s going on.
I contacted the seller and spoke to Michael Wright initially see if he could help. I was very polite to him and said my issue was not with him or his company but with the courier. He was nothing but rude and completely disinterested in my complaint.
I’ve waited another 5 days for my delivery and contacted the seller again as instructed by the courier. Spoke to the same man again today Michael Wright to ask for my money back as the birthday has now passed, his reply was to put the phone down on me!!!!
BOTH THESE COMPANIES DONT DESERVE OUR CUSTOM, ALL THEY DESERVE IS TO GO BUST!!! there customer support is zero, I will never buy anything from them again!!!!
Complete and utter sham of a company!!!!!!!

Mr Webster called regarding a delay with delivery of his item, his tone was extremely aggressive. I tried to explain that as the Royal Mail workers are taking industrial action all other couriers are subsequently overloaded and delivery times have been extended considerably. I told Mr Webster that I could not give any more information other than that shown on the EVRI website. That was not good enough for him, he started to demand a refund that day and would not wait any longer. He shouted "Your customer service STINKS" I politely said I do not want to speak to you any more and put the phone down
A very abusive message was received from Mr Webster on our phone recording system later that day threatening to pay me a visit and assaulting me violently
I would like to take this opportunity to remind all our customers that hostile, aggressive or any unacceptable behaviour towards any member of our staff will not be tolerated
NOTE: The umbrella has now been delivered

Very quick delivery

Very quick delivery, good quality polo shirts at a very good price. I must admit I was bit dubious after ordering, but was no need, excellent experience and I will order again

Complete scam of a company

Placed an order, which was shipped without tracking, and only one of two boxes in the shipment were delivered, and I emailed them and they were extremely rude with me stating that it is not their fault if it got lost in the mail and they won’t do a thing about it. Not sure how they’ve stayed in business this long treating their paying customers like this. If my package gets lost because they were to cheap to pay for tracking (when I selected the one shipping option available there was no mention of no tracking) it is not my fault and I should in no way be left responsible to pay for something I didn’t receive. They just ignore my emails now and don’t do a thing. A completely unprofessional and unhelpful company. I’m starting to even doubt they sent me a package in the first place if they’re acting this way about it when I inquire.

Error...

Never experienced any problems. Great merchandise, great service and swift delivery. F1 of a business.

Addendum to the above. Having recieved an ordered item from the above company, and whilst speed of delivery was excellent, I noticed that the item was made in china. I make a point of not purchasing anything associated with a country whose human rights record is appalling and who are the largest air polluters on the globe. Had I been aware that this item was manufactured in china I most definitely would not have purchased. I will also not be purchasing from this company in future.

Not good

I have ordered a hat from this website which has not arrived, I called them this morning and the man was very rude and insinuated I had received it, he made me feel like a criminal and is not interested in doing anything about it. I will never buy from this company again.

Terrible quality and customer service.

Ordered a necktie, which the loop on the back snapped. I rang them up and the man on the phone was rude, making wild and unacceptable accusations of what I had done with the tie in order to snap it! Do not buy from this joke of a company, and if you do, don’t expect anything more than 3rd class service.
