I would advise caution when dealing with this dealership.

We paid a £200 deposit for a vehicle over the phone. At the time of payment, no terms were provided stating that the deposit was non-refundable. We had actually intended to proceed via Auto Trader’s £99 refundable deposit option, but were encouraged to pay £200 directly to them instead.

We agreed to collect the car on 14 March, however the dealership contacted us on 12 March to cancel as the vehicle was not ready due to required repairs. We have contemporaneous evidence of all this.

When we later requested our deposit back, we were told it was non-refundable, despite this not being mentioned or agreed beforehand. The salespeople were reasonable enough to deal with. But the manager rang back and was extremely rude saying we had wasted his time etc. We were then told that if we wanted the money, we would need to collect it in person. This approach felt intimidating and made us uncomfortable, particularly as my mother is an elderly woman.

Overall, this was a disappointing experience due to poor communication, lack of transparency around terms, and the vehicle not being ready as agreed.

I purchased a car from Motortrust Garstang, and everything seemed fine until I made the full payment and expected a delivery date.
Unfortunately, 3.5 weeks later I was still without a vehicle and had no confirmed delivery date in sight.

Throughout this period I made 32 calls to the dealership, yet they only returned 4 of them. Communication was extremely poor, and I constantly had to chase for updates. Only the sales representative I initially dealt with ever provided any information.

The delays were repeatedly blamed on issues at their third‑party garage.

Week 1: I was told there was a backlog affecting the “128‑Point Check”.
Week 2: I was informed there was a problem with the mechatronics.
Week 3: This became a calibration issue and then a full replacement instead of a refurb.

I would have been perfectly willing to wait if these potential delays had been made clear upfront. However, none of this was communicated at the start, and the lack of transparency made the experience extremely frustrating.

In the end, I cancelled the order and requested a refund, which I did receive before the weekend. Interestingly, the car was relisted on their website the very same day I cancelled, which left me unsure what to believe about the issues they claimed.

Overall, the experience was disappointing due to poor communication, unclear processes, and repeated delays

Great service from Ben, any issues on the vehicle I was purchasing were rectified in the vehicle preparation. Great communication throughout and during collection.

Explained the warranty, trade in and quality of the car I was looking at and what was involved, Would recommend them to anyone, and I would definitely check the website in future. A++++++

I bought my Toyota Aygo from these guys and I love it.
Although initially there was a minor fault with the back windscreen wiper motor it was dealt with straight away.
Cork was my Sales Assistant and was extremely efficient in dealing with all my phone calls...always polite and very helpful. Thanks Cork.
