As a CrossFit and marital arts gym owner I started working with Richard at a time to hit a much needed reset button during the lockdowns. He helped give me a perspective of myself and the fitness industry that I could not consider or even conceptualize, namely, the idea of mental health and movement working together. Everyone pays lip service to working out helping with things like anxiety and/or depression but Richard has helped give me specifics with the understanding that the cure or poison is in the dose. This has all helped create a personal development practice to help myself and serve my others.

Richard has a great way of seeing movement patterns and connecting them to deeper issues. I have personally experienced and witnessed how he corrects long term pain based on incorrect training and overuse through movement and breathing. He is on the cutting edge of movement science and it shows.

I have been working with Richard for many years. His wisdom and intuitive intelligence has made my life better. I been doing exercise all my life, but now with the direction and technique of Richard and his classes of applied anatomy of the platform moved academy has giving a more deeper understanding of how to do the movement correct and what muscles have to be involved to have a better movement and avoid injuries.

Richard has changed my life immensely, there had been days that I couldn’t get out of bed I had such back pain. After a consultation with him, he had me do exercises I thought were a bit crazy, but after my first session, the back pain had diminished so much that I wasn’t sure if it was the movement that made my emotions come out or that through the movement I now understood what was going on inside of my body that was causing the pain.
Either way, I didn’t care. I was so happy to be out of pain and I still am out of pain as I continue using the techniques that Richard gave me. I will forever be grateful.
