Dear, Nicholas
Thank you for your feedback,
We have been moving customers for over 12 years and never had any issues with damaged goods, on the rare occasion something goes wrong, we always take responsibility and resolve any issues effectively, hence our consistent five star customer reviews.
Unfortunately, you reported the claimed damage to our office, roughly six weeks after your move.
Regardless of what you may have discussed with our porters, this matter should have been raised with our office, regarding any insurance claims or replacements.
Our porters with the best intentions are only responsible for carrying out your move, not dealing with damage claims
We did investigate the circumstances surrounding your claim,
when we received your email weeks later, its understood your washing machine was pre wrapped in bubble wrap, before being moved, so unlikely any damage could have been caused in transit.
We spoke to the team who carried out your move, they insured us, there wasn't any damage to the wrapping or cuts on arrival to your new property.
Hence, damage underneath could not have been caused in transit.
The time frame to make any claim, has now passed.
In light of other surrounding circumstances on this matter,
Our team went above and beyond on your move, including reassembling your bed, without any further additional charges.
Your email to us, quoted when reporting the matter, weeks after your move, as follows -
"Hi Sabrina,
Hope you are well. Thank you to your team for a smooth house move nothing was too much of an issue very professional service and I will be using you again on my next move in 10 months time"
From our point of view your washing machine was sufficiently pre wrapped, by yourself ahead of our porters moving it, they would have also used additional
removals blankets, as standard practice.
Our conclusion, it wouldn't be possible for the washing machine door, to be damaged under the investigated circumstances.
We understand this may be a frustrating outcome for you.
Sincere regards,
Mr Nice Removals.
