Thought I was going to get $20
Thought I was going to get $20. But no. Didn't have an apple battery but a better working 3rd party battery. Plus other problems. Offered $5. Tutez needed more categories about condition. Saying laptop didn't work wasn't enough. Lost value because laptop graphics had previously been repaired.

Your sell order was for:
MacBook Pro, not turning on, good cosmetic condition.
What we received:
MacBook Pro, Poor cosmetic condition, not working with more than 1 issues (not turning on, graphics issues, keyboard issues, prior repairs, missing rubber foot, missing screws, non-original parts)
Hence the revised price.
We advise all our customers to accurately describe the devices (in this case: poor cosmetic, not working with more than 1 issue) to avoid pricing disappointment. Further more, we note that this device we received had inferior parts to the original configuration (RAM and storage). Any repairs on devices introduce potential points of failure, hence why we have to further revise the quoted prices.

Not happy After sending my computer and …
After sending our computer to Tutex and expecting around $300 based on the online calculater, I was sent a report and offered $5.00 based on photos of what what is obviously a different computer with water damage..... this is a total scam, they now have our computer, what a joke.

Your sell order was for 2 items, 1 iPad and 1 MacBook.
The iPad was as described (cracked screen), and we offered you the original quoted price.
The MacBook you selected was the 2016 Touchbar, good cosmetic condition, no issues.
The device we received was 2016 Non-touchbar, poor cosmetic condition (dents), issues (water damage, battery issues, USB port issues).
Hence why we had to revise the offer for the MacBook ($80, not $5!).
As with all customers, we offer the option to return the devices, if you are unhappy with the revised quote. Option which you opted for. Tracking number has been emailed to you for the return.
To prevent disappointment with regards to final price, we advise our customers to accurately describe their devices. We always honour the original quote if the devices are as described (as we did for your iPad).

Fast and easy process online but the wait periods for the item to arrive to them via post was over 2 weeks. Sending the item off via Aus post before being paid was quite agonizing which was made worse when there was no communication after a week! But all turned out well in the end and I would definitely sell to this company again

Trust
Trust. That's what's important when dealing with MrTutez. I had an initial quote of $510 for my MacBook Pro before I sent it off to them. Trusting that the computer will arrive at their offices. Trusting that they'd look at my gear with a considered view to a fair price. Finding that there are small marks on the casing that significantly drop the quoted price from $510 to $390 don't know how they got there (what can I do? I've sent them my computer trusting that they would be fair) what I should have done and what everyone should do before sending their gear away is take heaps and heaps of photos to ensure you already know what they might see as a mark 'dent'. I was able to negotiate an increase in the sell price to $420 which I was happy to accept.
I will use these guys again in the future as easy to deal with and my trust was not misplaced.
But remember to take photos first. :-)

The device received has scratches and chips on the cosmetic body, with pictures attached to the original condition report, which we consider it as fair cosmetic condition.
Pictures will be taken if the cosmetic condition of the device received does not match the cosmetic condition on the sell order. We welcome our customers to take pictures of their devices before mailing them to us.
We offer our customers options to have their device back for free, if they are not happy with the revised offer.
